My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

A LOVELY NEW FIND

Hi Everyone

I hope your day has been good so far.  As always my day is flying by far too quickly.

A quick post from me whilst munching on my lunch showing a card that uses a fabby new find.

At the weekend I was very lucky and won a voucher to spend with The Ribbon Girl courtesy of the lovely ladies over at Penny Black Saturday (xx thank you ladies). I knew what I wanted to spend my prize on as I had only the day previous been looking at their website to see if there was anything interesting there I could use on my wedding stationery samples for the next fayre.  Whilst looking I fell in love with this gorgeous button twine here.

It arrived yesterday so had to be put straight to use on my share for today:

This used:

Image:  Kanban "Floral Panels"
Sentiment:  Computer Generated using font "Calligraph Script"
Backing Paper:  Wild Rose Studio "Lilac Mist"
Sizzix Die:  Tattered Florals (treated to more than its fair share of clear embossing powder)
Marianne Design Die:  Anja's Leaves #2
The Ribbon Girl:  Button Twine
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
X-Cut Punch:  Butterfly
My Trusty Sewing Machine
Tiny Pearls and Ribbon from my Stash Box

and that is it!!!

Time now to get back to a huge stack of printing .. .. and cutting card to unsual sizes!!

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Love

Hi Jules, lovely card and love the twine - I spotted it somewhere else too and thought, 'ooh! I like the look of that'. That's a great colour for your wedding stationery as purple seems to be in right now. Have to say, the heart(s) took a bit of finding, oh so subtle :)) Love the flower too. Hugs, Elizabeth xx
