My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

SUNDAY SNIPPETS

Hi Everyone

Have you had a good Sunday?  I hope so!!  Ours has been nice and productive .. .. but not productive enough of course!!

We were woken up nice and early (as per usual) by the wood pigeon that enjoys sitting on our chimney pots and calling down our chimney stack!!

There seem to be lots of birds around our garden at the moment which is lovely to see and hear.  In fact I hear one most days but have no idea what type of bird makes the very distinctive call.  It sounds like someone jumping up and down very fast on a trampoline that has a squeaky spring!!  LOL!!

Must research my bird call noises as I would love to be able to recognise them.

Anyway, round to my share for today which apart from the backing paper uses nothing but snippets of that cream card that haunts my craft pod!!  So I will be running over to the playground to do a "show and tell" with it over at  Pixie's Crafty Snippet Challenge.

After my lovely find of the digital tag set I told you about here yesterday I just had to play with it again today .. .. but this time no sentiments .. .. I re-sized, stamped and embossed and used my inks on the tags instead.  Once I know what sentiment I need for this card I will simply be able to tie a sentiment tag onto the ribbon .. .. magic!!!

So here is my share for today:

As usual I am lazy on a Sunday and don't list my ingredients .. .. buy if there is anything you want to know just ask away and I will try my best to help.

All I will say Eve is that not a drop of Glossy Accents made an appearance .. .. except to stick the flowers under the knot of my ribbon bow!!  LOL!!!

I hope you have all had a lovely day.  We have made quiches for England to go in the freezer and just because I could .. ..  a few chocolate chip muffins.  The kitchen had a lovely smell about it .. .. and I have had to eat just one of the muffins .. .. ..  to check they were OK! Thankfully they were .. .. .. without me having to eat another to be sure!!

Hope everyone has a good evening followed by a good week.

Mine is going to be a manic one!!!   But hopefully I will still find time to share something crafty!!

Love

can I ask how you pick up your nail heads I have quite a few with one of the heat tools but always have difficulty picking them up to place on my card I think I've only ever been able to use them on a couple of cards but I thought they would be better for male cards rather than pearls x

Hi Jules...your cards are always adorable and unique. I wonder where you get all the stunning ideas from.

I've realised one drawback of blogland is that I see all these wonderful crafty bits and pieces that I simply must buy! My latest is the gorgeous Digistamp Boutique Tags that you've played with this weekend. I'm not as clever with them as you but they are a fantastic buy and I'll be practising with them too. xx

Ha ha Jules but you still used a little bit of Glossy Accents!!
You might have to start going to GA anonymous! Don't worry though I'll come with you! LOL

You do realise that we are both completely nuts!

Those quiches and muffins sound lush- any you can't squeeze in the freezer send my way!

Beautiful card by the way. Happy Sunday! xx

Hi Jules, I love this card and gorgeous colour - different from your usual style. The bird is probably a Great Tit which sounds like it is saying "Tee-cher, Tee-cher, Tee-cher" (Tee=up note, cher=down note)quite fast (http://www.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/birdguide/name/g/greattit/index.aspx has an audio clip). Good luck with the mania! Pauline xx

What gorgeous colours. Love how you have tucked the flower stems through the bow you have tied. My knitting hens stamp has arrived. Mind you I think a neighbour may have been hanging onto it cos it was pushed through the letter box at 7.30pm!!!! hugs Mrs A.
