My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

ALL FINISHED

Hi Everyone

I hope your weekend has been a good one so far.

We did really well with our Christmas shopping today .. .. lots of £1 presents ready for the Christmas table and some of the more "serious" ones too .. .. which is a good job really as I have loads of wedding work to do over the next few weeks.

If the crowds in town today are anything to go by the sooner it is done the better .. .. it was heaving .. .. and people seemed very grumpy and irritated already about the queues everywhere!!!

Anyway, I used the little image I created last night to make this .. .. and I used the lovely sketch that is over on the Sketch N Stash Challenge at the moment

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "3057K" Leaping Deer
Sentiment:  Hero Arts "F4176" Santa's Reindeers
Backing Papers:  First Edition "Silent Night"
Distress Ink Pads (every shade of blue I own LOL!!)
Clear Embossing Powder
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Diamond Stickles
Cord and charm from my stash box

as part of entering the challenge you need to use a new or neglected piece of crafty stash.  Nothing brand spanking new on my card but the Hero Arts sentiment stamp which lists the names of all of Santa's reindeers is very neglected.  I bought it second hand when a local craft store was closing down.  It has been used a few times on Christmas tags but never on a card before.

Here is the sketch I used if you fancy playing along:

Have a lovely weekend.

Love

Oh yes - this is very nice :-) & rest assured that the crowds are horrendous country wide, it was a nightmare in Aberdeen on Thursday :-(

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

It may not be what you had in mind to start with but it's ended up a super card. Love the design and that text paper is perfect for the image.
Hope the town survived your paint attack and you had a good time.
