My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

TEENY TINY TUESDAY

Hi Everyone

I hope you are all well .. .. pretty cold no-doubt if you are a UK resident!  Brrrr!!!

A really quick post from me .. .. which to be fair I should have posted earlier today .. .. but life is super busy at the moment and each day seems to be lasting about an hour!!  Where is time going?!?!?

I was looking at the calendar and suddenly thought how come I only have two cards in the Christmas box if January is just about over!  So to make sure I am track I added more to the box using one of my favourite techniques .. .. the inlaid die technique .. .. and the die I love to use to do it!

So here we go .. .. just one picture because two teeny tiny 3.5" cards were misbehaving and didn't want to pose nicely and there was no time for messing about today .. .. but Christmas cards 3 & 4 are in the box!   They might be tiny but they still count .. ..

These used:

Memory Box Die "Pine Border Outline" Die
X-Cut Mini Sentiment Die:  Merry & Bright
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Green with black flock paper to make lovely textured trees
My Trusty Sewing Machine

and that is me for today .. .. super late and wondering if we are going to wake up to snow!!

A clever bit of inlaying here and on such a small scale too - must have been a bit fiddly but so effective

They are really lovely Jules, love the shade of green you have used. Must try that technique. A snowy start for us in Dorset, it's thawing now but I think we are in for more tomorrow xx

What a great idea, they look really great. After seeing your first use of this die I decided that I needed it but went and bought the wrong one, very similar but not as nice but I will see if it will use this technique.
Glad that you are keeping busy.

The snow arrived here is Suffolk last night around 11pm and is still on the grass, at 9.30pm. Love your little cards Jules and the trees are a brilliant die. Not seen that one.
We are going to a Sincerely Yours Craft Fair on Sunday in Thetford. Got a list already for things needed. Just hope the snow stays away, as it is an hour drive there. Hugs, Carol S.xxx

Hi again Jules and thanks for your kind comments as always. Di was really touched with the blog hop idea and has been working her way through all of them - still more to come I suspect as word gets around. You were lucky to miss the snow, we had quite a lot overnight Thursday but some of it melted during today. Here's hoping the rest disappears quickly - don't like being confined to barracks!! A good excuse to stay in and craft though so not all bad.
