My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

A STITCH IN TIME

Hi Everyone

Happy Monday!

A sparkly new week is upon us .. .. .. and I have lots I need to cram into it.

I have made a start on the "big crafty tidy up" that desperately needs to happen .. .. .. the first job being to clear a pathway to my sewing machine and get that up and running again.

It is going to take ages to get everything organised and put away as it should be .. .. but I am going for the option of  "a little bit every day" rather than trying to sort everything all at once.

So with my sewing machine back in action this is what I came up with:

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "1656K" A Stitch in Time
Sentiment:  Penny Black Tranparent "30-105" Gratitude
Backing Papers:  Craft Sensations "Mysterious Purple"
ProMarkers
Ribbon
Nail Heads
My Trusty Sewing Machine .. .. yay!!

and that is me for today.

Catch you again soon.

A super cute image and a gorgeous card Jules.

Like you, I am trying to get my craft room a bit tidier. I just have far too much stuff!! I am now trying to use some of the papers, with doing a couple of scrapbooks. I started them a few years back but haven't touched them for 2 years.

My son is really interested in the Maltese side of my family, on my mothers side. So I am focussing on that one. The trouble is finding the right papers to use! Takes a whole day to do 2 pages and that doesn't include doing all the writing that goes with the photos.

I have boxes of photos that I really don't want to all be thrown out, when I pop off!!

Big hugs, Carol S.xx

A wonderful card for someone who loves sewing. I've just realised that although I do plenty of stitching, I've never stitched a greetings card using the machine, possibly because I make cards in one room and sew in another and it could be a case of 'never the twain shall meet'.

I don't envy you tidying your craftroom - I had a major re-organisation in mine last year and it took me weeks!
