My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

GETTING READY FOR EASTER

Hi Everyone

What a grotty Saturday it is .. .. .. well weather wise anyway .. .. .. it is a beautiful day in other respects because my big baby and his wife have come home for a long weekend. Yay!!! Happy times!!

I have had my tight squeezy hugs and a big brunch and now Cat and I have sat down to craft whilst hubby watches the football and Paul (the big lad) has a kip. They set off at 5.30am this morning from London so time has taken its toll on him a little.
Cat is mastering the art of making Brenda's paper roses and I have made an Easter creation for my Auntie and Uncle.

This used:

Image: On the wooden block it just says "Sarah Jayne" - nothing more.
Backing paper and sentiment: Pink Petticoat
Leone Em Pty Punch: CP30 "Ash Branch"
Martha Stewart Punch: Doily Lace
Scalloped Rectangle and Rectangle Nesties
Promarkers
Josy Rose Nail Heads
Brad, flowers and cord from the stash box

Do you recognise the flower image Shirley? This was one of the stamps from the box you sold me last year. (Thank you very much xx)

So back to more creations. I have millions to make LOL!!!!!!
Have a great weekend everyone.

Love Jules xx

Beautiful Easter card Jules. I love the soft colours - so calming and soothing.

I'm quite hooked on making those roses after following Brenda's tutorial. I found my little 7/8" punch the other day and the lovely little rose I made turned out the same size as a 5p piece. Real cute! I haven't used any on a card yet apart from the very first one.

Have a lovely weekend with your Big Baby and your lovely DIL. I'm off to my little granddaughter's 2nd Birthday Tea in a minute. I'm hoping things are quietened down by the time I get there, Lol!

Hugs
Lesley Xx

Hi Jules,

The blog looks great...Especially with that fabulous card showing at the top! I just went back to your card to make sure I noticed the heart! (What a wonderful idea that is.) I love the colors and the coloring of this beautiful daffodil card. I love the doily punch used on that green. This is a fabulous Easter Card...anyone would be thrilled to receive it.

This card looks so big? Is it a normal size? You fit so much onto it!
