My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

FOR MUM AND FUNKY HAND NEWS

Good morning all

I hope you had a great Saturday. Mine was lovely. Lots of stamping and colouring!!!

The weather here was brill too and I am hoping we might get the same again today .. .. though it is looking a little dull at the mo.

Here is the card I have made for Mum's birthday (which is actually tomorrow). Quite often when we were kids we would have to go back to school on her birthday .. .. and she would say that was the best birthday present she could have!!!! Mmmm... ... don't know what that was all about .. .. we weren't naughty kids .. .. .. we wouldn't have dared to be!!!

Anyway here is the card

and the close up

This used:

Image: Penny Black "1736K" How About a Hug?
Backing Paper: Papermania "Rose Garden"
Sentiment: Computer Generated
Pink Petticoat: Ribbon Sentiment
Martha Stewart Punch: Daisy
ProMarkers
Glamour Dust
Diamond Stickles
Ribbon, cord, flowers and pearls from the stash box

There is also a new Christmas download available from Funky Hand. This was launched yesterday called "All I Want for Christmas"

Here are a few samples I have made using the download which has papers, sentiments and digi stamps.

You can see the download here and the other exciting news is that there are now envelopes available from Funky Hand for your word books. Yippee!!! No more gift wrapping my word books.

Here are my samples

Well I hope you all have a happy Sunday and that you find time to do a little crafting. I managed to catch up quickly with a few folk yesterday in blogland .. .. hopefully I manage a few more today.

Love Jules xx

I know I haven't been by for a little while but goodness me, Jules, you've made at least 15 cards! How do you do that? ! ?
There are some fab Christmas cards, anniversary cards, a wedding card, some geometric and some cutesy, some liqued embossing and some very pretty colouring and they are all just FAB!
I particulary love this one for your Mum (and the one you made for her which is for Nanny). I hope she had a lovely birthday. 6th September would have been my M&D's wedding anniversary so it's always a really tough day for my Mum but she still has her birthday to look forward to at the weekend. I'll be back soon. By then - I'm sure you will have another 10 gorgeous makes for me to view! Hugs, Lesley
