PENNY BLACK AT ALLSORTS BLOG HOP

Well this is going to be one very long post today because it is going to cover the Penny Black at Allsorts blog hop and the new look Funky Hand challenge.

So firstly, are you visiting me to take part in the Penny Black at Allsorts Blog hop? .. .. .. if so then you will have arrived here from my lovely teamie Tracy.

If you are not part of the hop .. .. but would like to be .. .. then you need to start at the very beginning which means visiting the Penny Black at Allsorts Challenge blog, leaving a comment there, and then start hopping to wherever you are directed to go in order to collect letters for re-arranging into the grid below.

You will be collecting nine letters in total .. .. from nine blogs .. .. .. and re-arranging them to make two words (you have been given two letters in order to help you on your way - aren't we kind!!!).  

Once you have collected all your letters, simply decided what the two words are, and then email your answer over to Brenda at .. .. .. brenda@ibas.co.uk  .. .. .. where there is another prize at the end for one lucky winner who gets the two words correct.  Oh it is like Christmas all over again don't you think?

Each of the nine blogs you are visiting has their own individual prize and to be in with a chance of winning those prizes you simply need to leave a comment on each person's blog.

The papers on my card have been taken from the CD just to give you a little taster of what you could win.  This is the most recent Funky Hand CD (but a new one is going to be released soon so watch this space!!)

But what letter should you be picking up from me?  Well before I tell you that I need to tell you about some exciting changes for the Funky Hand challenge  .. ..  Get Funky.

We have now moved the challenge so that it starts on the 15th of each month .. .. .. otherwise known as the "Funky Fifteenth".

But you don't get to see all of our creations in one go .. .. we are spreading them out over the course of the month .. .. so every few days you will see another creation to inspire you .. .. .. along with the odd crafting tip and tutorial thrown in for good measure.

The hostess with the mostest  for our first new look challenge is my great teamie Allison.  She is kicking things off over at Get Funky! today so I hope you have chance to pop over there too and perhaps take part in the challenge this month which has the theme "going round in circles".

Below is a card I have made to celebrate the launch of our new challenge and to show off the freebie download that Anice has made available (so there is no excuse for not joining in).  The freebie is the background paper with the large circles .. .. .. the smaller dottie paper is from the Colour Me Happy CD which you can win above.

These papers have been given a bit of distressing around the edges with Barn Door distress ink .. .. .. and as you can see there are lots of circles going on for me .. .. even the flower was made from circles of paper and vellum that have been wet, scrunched up, and dried with a heat gun.

 I hope you decide to Get Funky! as well as blog hop!! LOL!!.

So after all of that .. .. back to the blog hop .. .. .. the letter you need from me is the letter "T" (and probably a "cup of tea" too after all of that).
