My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

DOTTY ABOUT FUNKY HAND

Hi Everyone

Firstly may I say a big thank you for all the lovely comments and words of encouragement you left on my wedding stationery post of yesterday.  I am so pleased you liked what I showed and have been spending a good bit of today trying to take more photographs.

As soon as there is something worth looking at I will let you all know my website address.  It will only be very basic to begin with .. .. a work in progress .. .. but hopefully special enough to show what I can do.

Once again only one general card made today and that is one I can't share!!  Typical!!

But I can share the news that Anice from Funky Hand has released a new set of papers for download .. ... Rainbow Polkadots.  You can find them here.

The DT were given the download to work from a couple of weeks ago and you wouldn't believe the number of times I have picked the papers up to use and then suddenly thought to myself . .. no .. .. you can't use them yet .. .. they aren't released LOL!!!

But now they are..... yay!! .. ... and here is one of the creations I made with them.

This used:

Papers:  Funky Hand Downlaod Rainbow Polkadots
Image and Sentiment:  Funky Hand CD "Colour Me Happy"
Diamond Stickles and a little butterfly sitting waiting to be used in the stash box

What a frugal list!!

I simply printed my image and sentiment onto my white card then printed again onto the patterned paper .. .. but deleting the sentiment first so as not to waste any of my lovely spotty paper .. .. cut the shapes out and stuck them on!!  Super simple, super quick!!!

If you don't have the new Craft the Year Away CD though you won't be able to do the writing I'm afraid.  The new one up-dates any of the other Papercraft Factory CD's you may have already installed on your system.

I don't know about you but I can't wait for the tulips to start appearing in the gardens .. .. though I somehow doubt they will be quite the same as those on my card LOL!!

Well my business cards arrived today!!  How is that for speed.  I designed them on line yesterday at 1.00pm and they were delivered to me by courier before 1.00pm today and I am really pleased with them.  Something else ticked off the "don't forget to do" list!!!

Hope you all have a good evening.

My turn to cook tonight (but everything is prepared).  Prawn and tuna pasta in a garlic and cream sauce with mushrooms and spring onions.  Mmm.. ..  I am ready now ..  hope the bath doesn't relax me too much LOL!!!

Catch you again tomorrow

Love
