My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

I HAVE MADE EVEN MORE SNIPPETS !!

Hi Everyone

I hope you are all well and have had a good day.  We were promised rain .. .. but it didn't make an appearance so hubby has just had a good old watering session.

We put some more lawn seed down on the little lawn at the bottom of the garden as it was very bare from where we had raked all the moss out .. .. now all the new grass is appearing and it is just like when you have a new carpet .. .. we keep walking round the nice new bits.  LOL!!

Well today I have spent quite a bit of my time preparing wedding stationery and cutting out favour boxes .. .. and my oh my have I made some snippets!!

I thought I was doing well to begin with when I only saved the big bits but then I looked in the waste bin and decided that I could cut flowers or stamp sentiments on the smaller bits .. .. .. oh dear .. .. .. I hope that one day I will be strong enough to just throw these bits away LOL!!!

Anyway here is my share for the day .. .. the flower was made from one of the snippets I made today

This used:

Image:  Hero Arts "CL375" Big Flower Patterns
Sentiment:  Hobby Art Clear "CS016D" General Greetings
Backing Papers:  Aimee Asher
Sizzix Die:  "655217" Swirl
ProMarkers
Glamour Dust

Button and Chord from the Stash Box
Distress Ink:  Old Paper

I did actually stamp the flower and the dotty border with an Elusive Images stamp "32531" Script Background  ..  ..  but you can hardly see it and it probably looks a bit daft on the flower.

Well an exciting day in the House of Hearts tomorrow.  My big baby boy and his wife are coming for the weekend.  Can't wait!!  It will be lovely for us all to be together for Father's Day.  I am a bit worried about snippet production on Sunday though.  I might have to cheat this week and prepare a few ahead of time.

Have a good evening everyone.

I'll catch you again tomorrow.

Love

Such a pretty card and you are obviously taking heed of yourself and looking at the snippets first. LOL . What matter if you prepare a few snippets cards before Sunday - you are in charge of the challenge and can tweak as necessary. Family has to take a front seat on occasions.
Enjoy your day.

Hi Jules, love your card - the flower is gorgeous. I've been using up leftover strips of paper to make serendipity papers today - you can see how and why on my blog - http://silverscrappers.blogspot.com. I enjoy reading how you use up the snippets each Sunday and intend joining in one day. Elizabeth x

Its just gorgeous, love the flower stamp and you sounds just like me. I am always dipping back into my waste bin lol. I think I use it as storage now rather than waste lol. Enjoy your family this weekend. I was so cross at Jim last night, I thought he was quite rude!!

HI Jules, What a gorgeous card - I love the colours and the layers are fantastic. I did have to look for the script image on the flower - but it isn't out of place at all. You have done a great job as usual.

Hope you have a great day tomorrow. Our Father's day isn't until Sept here in Australia.

Your snippet makes never look as though they've been made from leftovers Jules and this one is no exception. It's totally co-ordinated as always and lovely colours too.

The flower is a stunner and I love flowers made from stamped script (which I could just see when I zoomed).

It's not snippet day is it? I've lost some days! I know what you mean about not throwing even the small bits away. I'm terrible like that.
Lovely card! Proves it's worth keeping everthing! Hugs, Lesley
