My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

I'M STILL ALIVE !!!

Hi Everyone

Yep .. .. I am still alive and kicking .. .. just up to my neck with wedding work at the moment.

I think all of July is going to be like this - so I am likely to be a sporadic blogger for a while yet.

I would like to say a bit "thank you" to everyone who has contacted me to check that I am OK .. .. how lovely to have such fabby blog buddies.  Not sure I deserve you at the moment  .. .. but I do appreciate you all and will catch up with you eventually.

So this post is to confirm all is well and good .. .. just busy and exciting.

I cleaned my craft desk down first thing Monday morning after my magazine makes and snippet play on Sunday and it stayed completely tidy until 7.15am this morning when I just had to open up again an envelope I had left on it containing a little delivery I had on Saturday.  My itchy fingers could wait no longer!  Every time I went upstairs I could see the little package looking at me and shouting .. .. play with me, play with me!!!  LOL!!

Well I had a little play and think I could play all week with the contents.  But this had to do for now .. .. my little crafty fix .. ..

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "30-093" Love London
Sentiment:  Pink Petticoat
Backing Papers:  Docrafts Forever Friends "Best of British"
Diamond Stickles
ProMarkers and Chalk
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Diamond Stickles
Cord from the Stash Box

Lots more lovely images to play with in the stamp set!!  Can't wait!!!

It would also seem that my little snippet tags on Sunday caused a few problems.  Not everyone could find the hearts!!  So here we go.  Which one was causing the problem?  I think I can guess LOL!!

I bet it was the heart sitting on number 3 that was the problem one (it is harder to see in the picture than in real life) .. .. .. or was it number 6 !!  LOL!!!

I was also very surprised and chuffed to see that Liz over at Pink Petticoat had spied my little tags and had featured them on her blog as a little June inspiration project alongside some other fabby makes that you can see here.

Alongside my surprise I was also a bit embarrassed to see that one of my tags had a mangled snowflake .. ..

Typical !!   LOL!!!

OK .. .. coffee break and blog posting over .. .. back to tying ribbons and trimming feathers!!!

Catch you again soon (I hope).

Love

I love and have both the stamps set and papers - absolutely fab what you've made Jules. I keep forgetting your tip about colouring cheeks with chalks - they look sooo much better the way you do them :)

Great to see you back in action even if only now and then - don't fret though over it, we'll still all be here when things calm down.

Love, Di xx

You did warn us you would probably be too busy to blog. Well that's a good thing in some ways isn't it. All those wonderful weddings to cater for means marrieage isn't dead and business is booming. I still don't know how you could leave a crafty package untouched for FOUR days! I'd have to at least oggle my new stash even if I couldn't play. Well you have now ad the stamps are adorable. Fab card.
