My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

WHAT? NO CHRISTMAS CARD!!!

Hi Everyone

The weekend starts here .. .. hope you have something nice planned for yours.

I have had a lovely productive day but surprise surprise I am not going to share any of the Christmas cards I made .. .. I decided a birthday card would make a welcome change for you.

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "4239K" Scented Message
Sentiment:  Lili of the Valley
Backing Papers:  Docrafts "Kraft Notes"
My Trust Sewing Machine
Distress Ink
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
ProMarkers
Ribbon (from the odd ends of ribbon drawer that needs sorting out)!!!

The Docrafts paper pad was one I saw "dirt cheap" in the clearance section at The Range .. .. simply because the corner of the pad had been flipped through several times by some of us nosey crafters that like to see what we might be buying .. and the corner would no longer lie flat.  I knew that by the time I had trimmed the paper to fit on my card front the damaged part would be cut off anyway .. .. so a lovely bargain made its way home with me to be loved!!

Enjoy the rest of your evening.  I'm not sure if I will be here tomorrow or not.  I am meeting up with three happy couples at various times of the day so may not find time for a crafty make for my blog .. .. but I will try!!

Love

This one is no exception - what a gorgeous, pretty card! Such lovely colours!

I hope your weekend goes swimmingly (does anyone use that phrase any more? I said it to my daughter the other day and she hooted with laughter! Youngsters, eh?!)

Hi Jules,
thank you for your lovely comment on my blog - it's nice to know that someone missed me!! LOL!
As for which sort of cards to show - I don't care, I want to see them ALL!
Glad you got your bargain paper, I love it when that happens.
Fabulous card, I love the way you have 'tucked' the ribbon into the image - I might have to steal that idea if you don't mind?!
Hope you have a lovely weekend.xx
