My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

AS YOU SEE IT CHALLENGE

Hi Everyone

I hope you are well and enjoying the week.

Life has been super busy here in the House of Hearts .. .. .. but that said, I am a weird and hyperactive kind of person and the busier I am, the busier I want to be and I keep coming up with new things that I want to try.  If only I didn't need to sleep or do housework!!  Just think of all that extra time I would have LOL!!

I have been playing for the As You See It Challenge.  This is a new challenge to me and you may remember me playing along a few days ago where you had to make a card in under 10 minutes.  This week we are asked to use their simple layout (with no time constraints this time LOL!!).

This is what I came up with:

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "3344J" Rosy!
Sentiment:  Digistamp Boutique clear sentiment stamp set  (sadly no longer trading)
Backing Papers: Pink Petticoat "Perfect Papers"
ProMarkers
Unbranded Fishtail Die from Amazon
My Trusty Sewing Machine

and the simple layout which was provided:

and that is me for today.

Catch you again soon.

This is so pretty Jules, I love the backing paper. I wouldn't have been able to do the under 10 minute challenge, but I might have a go at this one if I have time before it runs out. Have a lovely weekend x

This is just fabulous! I love the patterned paper - so fresh and such great colours. I think the way you've carried those colours into the sweet image is lovely. What a wonderful take on this sketch. Thanks for joining us again at As You See It Challenge.

Hi Jules,
Glad to know you are keeping busy and not sitting around doing nothing!!! Not allowed in the Heart home!!

A beautiful background paper for my fave PB Hedgehog. An adorable card.

Hope you can find just a few minutes to sit and relax. I was told by my Mother-in-law, many years ago, that I don't know how to spell the word relax, let alone do it!!

Try and have a peaceful weekend.
Love and hugs,
Carol xxxx
