My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

PROBABLY AN IMPOSSIBLE HEART

Hi Everyone

I hope you are enjoying your weekend.

It has been a scorcher here today and I have spent quite a bit of time colouring on the patio table under the shade of the umbrella.  Happy times and so relaxing!!

The current "As You See It" challenge is a sketch with a focal point.  Well we all know how much I love a sketch .. .. .. so I decided to make a Christmas Card .. .. .. to cool me down LOL!!!

This was the final result:

This used:

Cuttlebug Snowflake Die .. .. .. probably has antique value now as it is years old
DoCrafts Embossing Folder:  Snowflakes
Distress Ink Pad:  Chipped Sapphire
Spellbinder Circle Die
Ribbon
Crystal Glamour Dust (for adding to the snowflake)
DoCrafts Glitter Dome
My Trusty Sewing Machine

and the sketch for following

So that is me for today .. .. with another Christmas card in my stock box and lots of images coloured!

I am hoping that tomorrow is going to as productive as today .. .. .. with lots of colouring done in readiness for future cards!

Enjoy tomorrow whatever you have planned and apologies if the heart isn't showing up too well on the photographs.  But I promise there is one there.

Hi Jules,

Another gorgeous day, as we had a nice level of wind. Hoping the gardener will come this week as it is 4 weeks since it was cut!

Love your Christmas card design and the background paper is brilliant. I am sure I have got the big snowflake die.

My sister was due to go home tomorrow but she had a 2nd fall. So needs to be seen by the Doctor.

I have told her that she must sleep as much as she can. Also let the carers help her and husband.
Love and hugs,
Carol xxxx

I love a non-traditionally coloured Christmas card and this one is almost nautical in looks! But that glittery snowflake is a beautiful focal point! Thanks for playing along with us at As You See It Challenges.

It's hot here too Jules, I guess this is global warming. Not that I know much about it. Or is the world just changing? I don't know. But I do know that I think it is so fun that you sat outside and colored under the umbrella! I am loving this Christmas card, did it cool you down?! lol I have that Cuttlebug snowflake die too, it is definitely old! lol That embossing folder is so cool, love how you inked it before running it through the machine, very bold and makes those snowflakes just pop off the card! A great sketch for sure Jules and one I will definitely be using when I can make cards again. Hugs, Brenda
