My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

ALLSORTS DT CARD - WEEK 23

Good morning everyone

This should be my last scheduled post (hopefully Mr Blogger loves me enough to have played along with me whilst I on holiday) and tomorrow things should be back to normal.

It is Week 23 on the Allsorts Challenge blog and this week's theme was set by my team mate Brenda.

Brenda has chosen a theme of "Monochrome Christmas" along with a sketch.

Now when this theme was set I assumed my card would need to be black and white but apparently the true definition of monochrome is "a picture done in different shades or a range of tones of a single colour".

So here is my Allsorts creation for this week:

Here is the sketch for working to

My creation used:

Image: Penny Black "Filigree Tree" PB/3741K
Sentiment: Woodware "Circular Greetings" FRCL128
Backing Paper: Computer Generated
Cuttlebug: Snowflake Dies
Gems, Eyelets, Diamond Stickles, Ribbon and Glamour Dust from the stash box

I should be back from holiday now - but in the realms of preparing for a late birthday celebration for my eldest son's 30th. Last minute plan suddenly thrown into the cooking pot so lots of frantic shopping and teamwork.

Back to some sense of normality craftwise tomorrow afternoon!! Yay!!

Take care everyone and catch up with you soon.

Love Jules xx

Love this Jules, the colours gorgeous, you've educated me on the monachrome info, I always thought it was black & white too, you've done a superb job with the sketch, love it!

Oh wow. Just saw Brenda's card using this sketch and I've seen this one (which is gorgeous and in my favourite colour range) I think I'll have to try the sketch myself.
