My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

MEET TEENY TINY'S MUM

Hi Everyone

Happy Wednesday!

I hope your week is going to plan.

I'm not doing too badly with mine.  My scheduled weekday posts seem to be helping in making life tick along quite nicely on my blog, whilst I am busy completing work ready for my August "happy couples" and making samples for new "happy couples".

However, I am sitting on the naughty step with regards returning comments though :-( I will catch up eventually though.

As promised yesterday here is the Mummy of the teeny, tiny card I posted yesterday:

This used pretty much the same ingredients as yesterday (well they are related so you would expect that LOL!!)

Image:  Docrafts Papermania:  Hampstead Collection Sketch Flower
Sentiment:  Pink Petticoat "Tiny Blooming Sentiments"
Backing Papers:  Pink Petticoat "Pink Grapefruit"  Yummy!!!!
My Favorite Things:  Die-namics Blueprints 14
Woodware Punches:  Daisies
My Trusty Sewing Machine
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Ribbon and Brad from My Crafty Stash Box

You get to see a bit more of that gorgeous watercolour style paper from Pink Petticoat today.  I am loving this new look that Liz is creating.

So here are Mummy and Baby side by side:

I'll catch you again tomorrow with another share but in the meantime enjoy your day.

Rumour has it that we are going to be getting some much needed rain next week.  Sounds about right as Mr Heart has booked himself a week off work to do some repairs to our poorly patio!

TEENY, TINY TUESDAY

Hi Everyone

Happy Tuesday.

Here again with another one of my teeny, tiny 3.5 x 3.5 inch little makes . .. . .. I really enjoy making these.

This used:

Image:  Docrafts Papermania:  Hampstead Collection Sketch Flower
Sentiment:  Pink Petticoat "Tiny Blooming Sentiments"
Backing Papers:  Pink Petticoat "Pink Grapefruit" (a sparkly new watercolour style download I spied yesterday).  Yummy!!!!
My Favorite Things:  Die-namics Blueprints 14
X-Cut Corner Rounding Punch
My Trusty Sewing Machine
Glamour Dust
Ribbon and Button from My Crafty Stash Box

What?!?!?!?  No nails heads or diamond stickles???  What's the world coming too?!?!?

and of course I had to use the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Board for making my matching dinky little envelope

I think it is hard to imagine exactly how small these little cards are .. .. so tomorrow I will share this little card's Mum ..  as I made one of my normal sized cards and this tiny one in the same vein. (Surely you didn't think I had cut into all these lovely new sheets of paper just to make a teeny, tiny card?  That would be naughty!!).

So that is me for today.

Hope your day goes well and I will catch you tomorrow.

SUNDAY SNIPPETS

Hi Everyone

Happy Sunday!

A little bit more bearable in our neck of the woods today .. .. but still hot enough to be drying the washing in the blink of an eye!!  How much ironing have I made?  LOL!!!  (But you have to make the most of it don't you?).

Early morning snippet makes for me - and here they are ready for taking over to share in Di's Crafty Snippets Challenge:

as always on a Sunday I am very lazy and do not list my ingredients but if there is anything you would like to know then please just shout up.

I was a very lucky girlie today as I won the random org for the lovely prize that Di was kindly offering for last week. Thank you very much Di!!  xx

OK .. .. time to get that washing in off the line before it is too dry to iron  .. .. and some more out to dry!!!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

HAPPY EVERYTHING!

Hi Everyone

I hope you have had a good day today .. .. it has been a scorcher here.

Even with all the windows open there was not even a hint of a breeze!

No room was any cooler than another so I had a good crafty clear-up in my little craft pod and then worked on this little share:

This used:

Sentiment:  Elzybells (sadly no longer trading)
Backing Papers:  First Edition Papers "Desert Blooms"
Dies:  My Favorite Things:  Blueprints 14
Clear Embossing Powder
Distress Inks:  Victorian Velvet and Dusty Concord
Button Twine, Lace and Ribbon from My Crafty Stash Box
Embossing Board for embossing background card
My Trusty Sewing Machine

The dark card is actually a lovely aubergine colour .. .. but my camera just doesn't seem to like it as much as I do and is trying to change it!!  LOL!!

I'll catch you again tomorrow with my snippets.  They have all been re-arranged today so I know exactly what I have (and how many too .. .. eeekkk!!).

HAPPY RUDOLPH DAY

Hi Everyone

I hope you have been having a good week.

Today's post was an easy one to schedule because I knew exactly what was going to be asked of me .. .. two Christmas cards for Sandra's Rudolph Day Challenge.

Ready nice and early so here we go:

These used:

Image and Sentiment:  Digistamp Boutique "Snowy Fun Set"
Backing Papers:  Pink Petticoat "Nordic Joy" and "Pinstripes"
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder (which I am struggling to find the name of but it might be "Snow Dots")
Sizzix Die:  "657003" Winter Wonderland (for the snowflake)
Glamour Dust
ProMarkers
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
My Trusty Sewing Machine
Flat backed pearls from My Crafty Stash Box

I will link up later as I am in schedule mode .. .. but in the meantime have a great day!

Two more Christmas cards for the box.  The box is filling up nicely so I really must get some inserts put in them before that becomes a major task all of its own LOL!!

The weekend will be here before we know it!!  Have a good one!

HOW ABOUT A HUG

Hi Everyone

Happy Thursday?

How about a hug?  Well you can have one if you want but I don't think there will be many takers .. .. other than Mr Heart.

I think I was rather heavy handed with the garlic in the spag bol last night .. .. and coupled with garlic bread .. .. well lets just say I am pleased I am not meeting up with anyone today otherwise I would have to chomp on a packet of extra, extra strong mints .. .. LOL!!

So a fast share today because everything was sitting ready and waiting.  The image was already coloured and sitting in my "waiting to be put on a card" box and the papers were on my desk waiting to be put into the snippet drawers.

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "1736K" How About a Hug!!
Backing Papers:  Pink Petticoat "Vintage Rose" (sadly no longer available) and Pinstripes
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
ProMarkers
My Trusty Sewing Machine

and that is it.

I did make a "Get Well Soon" sentiment for putting on this card but decided I wouldn't add it and instead would just put a plain insert inside. That way it can be used for lots of reasons .. .. get well, thank you, birthday, well done, sorry I smell of garlic  (only joking I don't think anyone would send a card saying that .. . would they? ...LOL!!).

Enjoy your day - I hope you find a bit of crafty time all to yourself.

Aeroplane button that is years old from the days when I used to knit the boys jumpers and make their shirts.  I loved to use quirky buttons on them .. .. (the shank has been cut off the back so I could stick it on my card)
ProMarkers

and that is it!!

Enjoy your day .. .. I hope the sun is shining on you.

DIE WORK FOR QUICK CARDS

Hi Everyone

Happy Monday!!  I hope you had a brilliant weekend.

It doesn't seem two minutes since I was saying this last week LOL!!

I thought I would share a couple of cards which were part of a set I made for the current issue of  Quick Cards Made Easy magazine.

Normally I just share my favourite .. .. .. but this time I have struggled to decide which to show because I love them all for different reasons.

So I have whittled it down to two.  The first one because I just love it .. .. and the second because I enjoyed encasing the lovely diecut in acetate.

I was asked to work with Wild Rose Studio Dies and Design Papers and I teamed them up with Pink Petticoat sentiments.  They worked really well together and I love the colours in the backing papers.

Of course my pictures don't look anything like as good as the ones the magazine took but at least they are good enough to share.

Have a lovely day everyone.  The weather is gorgeous again here today .. .. such a huge difference to Saturday!

I'll catch you again tomorrow for "Teeny, Tiny Tuesday".

SUNDAY SNIPPETS

Hi Everyone

Happy Sunday.

I hope you are having a lovely weekend.

Today is certainly a huge improvement on yesterday weatherwise!

My day is one of those kind where everywhere you look you can see something that needs either cleaning, cooking, ironing, polishing or just plain putting away .. .. my least favourite kind of day!

One of the pleasant parts of the day so far though has been a quick play with my snippets.

So here are my two shares for today:

As always on a Sunday I am lazy and do not list my ingredients but please feel free to ask if there is anything you wish to know (just can't help with the winning lottery ticket numbers for this week I'm afraid).  LOL!!

OK time to link up to Pixie's Snippets Playground Challenge and then get back to what feels like never ending chores .. .. but at least I will be happy when I start tomorrow with everywhere tidier and more organised.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
