My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

HOPE YOU ARE ALL WELL

Hi Everyone

I am back again at last.

I hope that everyone had a lovely Christmas! I spent mine with my family but now they have all returned to their individual homes and I am left playing mega catch up.. . . . so much to do over the next few days craftwise.

My hubby wanted to go "out and about" today as they have threatened snow for us again tonight . It is so difficult to drag myself away when I have such a lot to do but it is only fair I do what my hubby wants to do "sometimes" I suppose. LOL!!!

Santa didn't bring me any crafty goodies at all .. .. .. I just knew I had been too naughty!!!

Good job I have the new Funky Hand CD to play with that's all I can say!! This CD is due for release soon but I get to play with it early!! Lucky, lucky me - I am having great fun with it.

So Christmas cards are now "put to one side" for a little while and tonight I will share a bright and cheery card. I have made this little beauty a few times in various colours as I really like it.

This used:

Image: Funstamps FP110 "Patchwork Daisy"
Sentiment: Funstamps F-C60 "Happy Birthday Circular"
Backing Paper: Pink Petticoat "Lolas Boudoir Rainbow Collection"
Promarkers
X-Cut: Small flower punch
Glamour Dust for the centre of the flower (I will have to wean myself off the sparkle slowly LOL!!)
Gems and Ribbon from the stash box

We had to return a present to town today that we had bought for our youngest son .. .. .. .. it was faulty .. .. .. .. we paid £40 for it a couple of days before Christmas .. .. .. today they were selling the same thing for £20!!!! How annoying is that??

But the surprise was they exchanged the gift for a replacement .. .. .. plus they gave us a nice £20 note!!! I never expected that without an bit of hassle. They must have had a bit of "Christmas Spirit" left over. LOL!!! So the youngest gets a replacement toy and a lovely £20 note into the bargain!!

Catch you all again soon.

Love Jules xx

First of all, love the nice bright card Jules. Lovely to see on a horrid sleety night like tonight.

Glad you had a wonderful Christmas with you family. You sound a bit like me except I've gone from having a house full to being left with just the dog, Lol. Hubby decided to stay at our daughter's nearer to work tonight incase of bad weather.

At least it means I can have a crafty play in peace!

Hi, Jules! Welcome back after the festivities! Hope you enjoyed it all. Bargain result with your son's pressie! Santa left me two copies of 'The Time Traveller's Wife' (book).. I wonder if W.H. Smith would go for that same approach??? hehe!! ;o)

Love that card. It certainly is bright and cheery! No wonder you use that design over and over. It really works.

'Talk' to you again before New Year's Day, I expect, but if not.. have a happy one! :o)

Hugs,
Chris xx

Hi Jules, gorgeous card hun love the image and colours.
I must have been on Santa's naughty list with you as I didn't get anything crafty either, and as for the sparkle I'm not going to wean myself off it I'm just gonna keep plastering it everywhere lol

Hi Jules
Glad you had a good Christmas! No crafting goodies? Funny, mine all looked a bit familiar and were just what I wanted...like I'd gone out and bought them myself!!! It is a beautiful card - nice to see some spring colour. I've had to put the glitter away so I don't keep putting it on everything!

Hi Jules,
This card is great, I love the layout and all the white on it. I am not surprised you've made it a few times in different colours.
