My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

HAS ANYONE MELTED YET?

Phew!!! Has this weekend been hot or what?

Today I have seen hardly anyone out and about .. .. and we live on a main road!! Everyone must be either soaking up the rays in their garden or trying to keep cool indoors. Personally I go for the staying in doors option.

The best time for me to go into the garden on days such as today is early evening - just as everything is starting to cool down.

I must need my head looking at though because I am still doing a roast dinner for our evening meal!!!

Just a share of a very simple card

This used:

Image: Stampendous! "V126" Happy Couple
Sentiment: Stampendous! "J180" Mr & Mrs
Backing Paper: Pink Petticoat
X-Cut Butterfly Punch
ProMarkers
Diamond Stickles
Ribbon, Brad and Pearls from the stash box

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend and haven't melted or got burnt by the sun.

See you again tomorrow.

Love Jules xx

It may be simple Jules, but it is very effective. Love the image and the soft colour papers.

I can't even craft because I get that hot and bothered.

Love, Kerry xx

Fabulously elegant card Jules and very contemporary too.

I have been wilting all day and have spent as much time indoors as possible. I could craft because my craftroom is the conservatory as you know and it was over 40 degrees in there today. It's currently standing at about 36 so I'm going to try and do a bit of crafting very shortly.

You and Sally are bonkers cooking a roast, Lol! I hate the heat anyway so if anyone wants a roast in this house on a day like today, they can jolly well cook it themselves.
Aren't I mean?

I stayed indoors today too - don;t like the heat. The kitchen was a bit hot while cooking the dinner too as the sun was shining full in the two windows. Phew.
Love this very elegant card.

Well I'm going to go against the grain of all your other bloggers, Jules. I love the sun and have sat in it for two whole days and done nothing but read my book!!! Pure bliss and yes, I have been careful and put lots of suncream on and not burnt or melted!! I did wait until late this evening to do a bit of gardening and crafting though when it was lovely and cool.
I agree with Lesley about the roast, completely bonkers. Salad and more salad in this house, easy and quick.
Anyway I'm going on far too long, your card is gorgeous, simple and elegant. I love the image and your butterfly just finishes it all off with a flourish. Stunning.
Have a good week.

Such a beautiful card Jules. I love the colours.
It's been raining with us, but as it is needed so much over here, I can't really complain.
