My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

HUGS AND KISSES

Hi Everyone

Do you all have that extra special Friday feeling .. .. .. .. extra special because we are heading for another Bank Holiday weekend?

We are promised some rain for tomorrow, wind on Sunday and sunshine on Monday .. .. we shall see!!

I don't mind there being a little bit of rain as it will soften the garden up for hopefully some more garden sorting. My runner beans are ready to go in .. .. but the sticks are still not up and my courgette plant is ready for its entry into the big world.

My hands are definitely in need of a bit of tlc .. .. this gardening malarkey is doing them no favours and they are looking a bit sorry for themselves. But I just cannot work in gloves - be this indoors or out.

Last week when we were paying for a purchase in Boots they had some painted false nails on sticks that you could place over your own nails to see if the nail varnish colour is something you would like to buy. Of course I had to have a try whilst waiting for the sales assistant to "do her thing" and I chose a lovely shade of pink. Oh my .. .. that finger looked so lovely .. .. but nails like that would be so impractical. I turned to hubby and said "I bet you wish my nails looked like that!". Ever diplomatic he avoided answering by saying "I thought you would have chosen to try the black one!!!" (I used to wear black nail varnish, along with lots of other dark and weird colours when we were first married). Perhaps I need to make more effort but for me gardening and cleaning do not go hand in hand with beautiful nails!!!

Anyways, here is my share for today
This used:

Image: LeLo Design by Stampavie "SAV-LELO-07" - You Go First
Sentiment: Elzybells
Backing Papers: Funky Hand CD "Dreams Come True"
Stars: buttons from the stash tin with the shanks cut off
ProMarkers

So that is me for today.

I am hoping to get some more crafting done over the weekend too and also a good blog hopping session .. .. .. I am well overdue!! Sorry folks!!

Love Jules xx

Love the card Jules, the papers from funky hand are super, keep meaning to treat myself, must get down to it.
Ohhh gardening, what a thought, used to enjoy doing my bit along side hubby, now i find it such a chore, planted up all my pots and tubs the other day and did'nt enjoy it one bit, the problem is, if I let him do it we'd have geraniums round the edge and trailing lobelia in the middle!!!
Enjoy your weekend, hugs Jacee

Hi Jules
Lovely card, super cute image, gorgeous papers too.
I've just been gardening and can't work in gloves either! My poor hands and nails! Must put extra cream on them :)

Super cute image Jules but they look a bit worried, Lol! Those papers are really lovely.

I used to have quite long nails which always looked great and beautifully painted - but only because they were silk wrapped!!! The trouble is when you stop have them done (after nearly 10 years in my case) what you're left with underneath has been ruined.

Have a great weekend Jules.

Hi Jules. That is so pretty. Love those pastel /ice cream colours. After the messy session with Brenda your nails will look like mine - various shades of different ink colours - who needs nail varnish!!!

This is such a sweet image and the bp is very pretty.
I know what you mean about the nails. All winter they look quite good, now they are all br0ken away. The Tesco delivery man came Wednesday and couldn't find his stylus so told me to sign the thing with my fingernail. Duh!They probably though a child took delivery of the stuff.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs
