My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

NEW HOME CARD

Hi Everyone

Well the day hasn't been quite as sunny as yesterday .. .. but still pleasant.

Apparently we are being promised a BBQ weekend - so that will be nice. Not that we are likely to have a BBQ!!

Here is my share of the day

This used:

All papers : Pink Petticoat
Image and Sentiment: Pink Petticoat
Martha Stewart Punch: Daisy and Frond
Flower made from Woodware Punches
Button, ribbon and key charm all from the stash box

So last night I was a good girl and did some work in the garden. I am going to be equally good and do a bit more tonight. Though I have to say that my garden is actually more like a field. It hasn't been under control in the whole 19 years we have lived here. We have a large garden which could look so beautiful given a couple of years "hard labour" !!! But it doesn't help that my lovely hubby hates worms, slugs and snails .. .. .. and these little beauties just love my garden!! (I want the worms there but does anyone have any "kind" ways for me to catch and get rid of the slugs and snails?).

I am also hoping to do a bit of blog catching up tonight. Last night my hubby spend most of the evening trying to sort out my lappy so I didn't get much visiting done. My lappy is definitely a lot happier today but is still not 100% right. The thought of losing everything was quite a scare though so it has prompted me to get all of my work and downloads etc backed up somewhere else .. .. I would be gutted if I lost everything I have collected together over the years!!

Have a good evening everyone and I will catch you again tomorrow.
Thanks for calling by.

Love Jules xx

Oooo Jules, I love the colours of this card, so soft and feminine and I think I'll have to try to get that stamp. It is GORGEOUS! Well done. I'm loving your cards! hugs Sharon

Gorgeous card! Have you tried slug pubs? If you sink a pot into the soil so there is about an inch of lip above the surface then fill with beer. The slugs and snails love the smell and drown in complete bliss!!! You need to stop other things from flying in or drinking it though. I got some specially made ones from the garden centre with a lid that stands proud.

It's been overcast here today too Jules, although we're not very far away from you so that's not surprising. It has been quite warm enough though. Just my sort of weather.

I love this pretty card and what a lovely sentiment. The spotty papers are gorgeous.

You've really made me think about what would happen if our ancient PC decided to give up the ghost. I don't have any purchased downloads like you but we have hundred and hundreds of photos of special holidays and our granddaughters. I'd be devastated if we lost those so I've told Hubby to sort out a memory stick to at least get those saved somewhere else.

Hugs

Super card Jules, thats a new one from PP to me, its really great!

Very pretty flowers!

I cant stand all of the creepy crawlies either! yuk! We changed our garden, it was small anyway, into a (I cant think of the right word!) well, its lost the grass and is all artistically slabbed and filled with lots of pots! Very colourful and easy to maintain!
