My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

A BIT DIFFERENT FOR ME

Hi Everyone

Do you ever start a creation with something in mind and it ends up as something that is completely different?

Well that is what happened to me with this one.

It now looks nothing like what I started out to make LOL!!  It is a bit different for me too but I like it!!  Good for using up little bits!!

So here it is

This used:

Backing papers:  All Papermania "Rose Garden"
Image:  Inkadinkado "90355"  Lace Background (but only stamped around the edge)
Sentiment:  Elzybells
Martha Stewart Punch:  Traditional Scallop
Nestabilities: Classic Scalloped Circles Large (for cutting the flower layers)
Nestabilities:  Doodle Parts
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Ribbon from the stash box

Not quite my usual style but fun nonetheless!!

Hope you have all had a good day.  We still have snow and ice on the ground but nothing fresh added for a few days now.  Things are supposed to be improving temperature wise towards the end of the week so I shall look forward to that.

I think that a bit of a clear up in the old craft pod is in order tomorrow now that Christmas card production is slowing down.

Have a good evening everyone and thank you for calling by.

Love

Those colours together are gorgeous. I love the design and the flower is fab. Do you have to put cards like this with flowers on, in boxes? I'd love to put more embellishments on but wonder about posting them.

Well I can't say my stuff never comes out as I've envisaged because I don't have a finished piece in mind to start with, Lol! I just start with one this, usually a stamp and then a technique and go from there. That's probably why my cards never have the lovely 'polished' look of the professional as your's do Jules.

This beautiful card is a perfect example! I dread to think what it would look like if I tried to use all those bits of paper and yet you do it and they are exactly where they belong! The papers you've used are lovely and so is your flower.

It sounds like your weather has been a bit more tricky than ours, Jules. Luckiy we avoided the fog and have had lovely sunshine although the temperatures are still well below zero!!
Your cards are stunning. I love this one. Sometimes the best ones just evolve I find.
Stay warm.
