My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

HANDBAGS AT DAWN !!

Well not quite dawn .. .. but I did make this card very early this morning .. .. before settling into work.

Some of you may remember me making these last year.

Well if I made one last year I must have made about 60 .. .. they were very popular and  I couldn't make them quick enough.  In fact I made so  many that I needed a rest from them.

But today .. I fancied making another and really enjoyed myself in the process .. .. plus I was much quicker than I was last year which helped!!  I felt a bit  like my lovely Sis designing handbags LOL!!!

So here is my share for the day:

This used:

Handbag template which you will find here
Backing Papers:  Pink Petticoat
Sentiment:  Elzybells (sadly no longer trading)
Nestabilities:  Scalloped Circle and Classic Circle
Woodware Punches:  Daisy
Button with the shank cut off

I think I would like a real version of this handbag !!!

So here we are .. .. the start of a bank holiday weekend.  Yippee!!!  I hope that you all have a good one.

Take care.

Love

I think you'd have to take out a second mortgage to afford the real version of this handbag :) It's gorgeous and I can quite see why they were so popular. Have a lovely weekend. Elizabeth x

PS: It's Barbara Gray weekend so I'll be curled up on the sofa in front of the TV for a goodly part of tomorrow and Sunday ;)

Hello Jules!

What a gorgeously girly creation and I am loving that black and white animal print paper too!

What an under used work that is: shank. I think it is my word du jour! Must see if I can utilise it somewhere!
