My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

BLOOMING HEART

Hi Everyone

I hope you have had a good day .. .. .. but if you haven't then I hope that things improve and that you feel much better soon.

Our promised snowfall is just starting!!!  We have been warned to expect six inches .. .. that is an awful lot of snow!!!  Eeeekkk!!!

Whether the prediction is correct we can only wait and see .. .but if it is then I foresee an awful lot of chaos on the roads tomorrow.

My card tonight features a beautiful new stamp that I was sent just before Christmas by a very special friend (thanks again - you are very kind xxxxxx).  She selected it especially for me .. .. I can't imagine why? LOL!!!  Aren't I a lucky girlie?

So here is my first play with it .. .. and I am also running along to show it off in the Snippet Playground.

I am also entering into the WOW! Embossing  Powder Challenge for January.  The theme is actually "Ice and Snow" but I am hoping my lovely Bright White, Super Fine embossing powder will count me as eligible for the challenge.

This used:

Image:  Hero Arts "K5298" Blooming Heart
Sentiment:  Magnolia "I Love You (Text)"
Backing Papers:  Pink Petticoat "Pinstripes" - printed in black onto kraft card
Wow! Embossing Powder:  Bright White
My Trusty Sewing Machine
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads and Gems
Buttons and Button Twine from my Stash Box

My little "I love you" label was cut free hand.

So that is me for today.  A little bit earlier than last night.

I'll catch you again tomorrow.

Have good evening and stay safe if you get snow and need to go out in it!!

Love

Brilliant Jules! And what a super stamp. It's funny, if I'm looking for anything crafty now, and I spot hearts, I fret in case it's something you haven't got or are not aware of :) What a sweet gift - and a super result!

Hope the snow is not too deep, nothing apart from what fell the other day here at the moment, OH! the sky is so heavy. If that falls we will probably be "stuck" supplies in just in case.
Have a Great Weekend
Stay warm, stay safe.

Surely didn't have to 'hunt for the heart' on this one! It is stunning. Love the combo of the kraft with the white emboss and it DOES indeed look like snow. I LOVE this one (well, I always say that about your cards!). The buttons were an inspired touch, as well as the black & kraft stripe square. Good luck in the challenge...this ought to be a winner. Sure is in MY book. Hugs

This is beautiful Jules, I absolutely love it, but then I always love your cards.
We have at least 6 inches of snow here in Andover, we've even had the snow plough going down the road and that's a first. Hope you are keeping warm - have a great weekend.

Gorgeous card, Jules. Love the mix of Kraft, black and white - it just works so well. You've prompted me to get out the sewing machine from hell and have another go ... this time with some success. Still not up to your standard, but working on it :) Hugs, Elizabeth xx
