My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

OOOPSIE DAISY

Hi Everyone

Happy Wednesday .. .. I am not going to mention the weather :-(

As I have been having quite a few requests for belated birthday cards recently I decided that one of the new downloads from Digistamp Boutique would be a good investment whilst it was on offer.

I took my paper, image and sentiment into my Serif Craft Artist programme and came up with this:

This used:

Image and Sentiment:  Digistamp Boutique "Blooming Lovely Set"
Backing Paper:  Digistamp Boutique "Ditsy Rose Papers"
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
ProMarkers
Glamour Dust
Button Twine
My Trust Sewing Machine

I used the Serif programme to add a little shadow behind the image (perhaps a little too much) but I think it makes the image look like it is popping nicely off the striped background.

So that is me for today.

Just remembered I can pop this into the Digistamp Boutique Challenge for February .. .. so that is my next port of call!

Supper time now!

Catch you soon.

Love

Hi Jules,

This is fabulous! I love how you've used Craft Artist to make the shadow - very clever!

Hi Jules! Have I misunderstood this? So the vase and daisy image is actually flat on the striped background? You've not popped it up with foam pads? If that is correct, then.... WOW! A BIG WOW!! Your shadow really works because it really look like they are 3D!! What a wonderful card! ^_^

This is gorgeous Jules. I love the image. I wish I could sew in such a straight line. IT doesn't matter how careful I am my lines are never straight.
Enjoy the rest of your week.

Awww! This is such a sweet card. I love everything about it. I used to have a huge collection of belated bday sayings... then I decided maybe I should work more towards being on time! So instead... I didn't send any cards. Oopsie daisy, indeed. I'm much better this year. I really like the backing paper on this card. It really makes it pop with the glitter.

Hi Jules, Wow the image really does pop of the page. It's amazingly 3D. And well done for getting to grips with Craft Artist. I still haven't got round to loading it on my laptop. But methinks I'll need a new laptop ... one with lots of disk space.

Hugs, Pauline xx
