My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

SENTIMENTS

Hi Everyone

Happy Friday!!

I hope your day has gone well .. .. though if you live down South there is a chance it might not have done :-(

I spent quite a bit of the afternoon with my Mum today catching up with the world.  I was sticking wedding wallets together .. whilst Mum was busy playing her DS (not bad for an 83 year old!!) .. .. but with her also playing the news on the TV .. .. on a loop.  I dread to think how many times I was aware of the same stories playing over and over and over!!!!  Talk about "groundhog day" LOL!!

Anyway, sorry about the no show yesterday.  The day just ran away with me and then I decided I had better spend a bit of time with Mr Heart .. .. just so he could remember who I am and what I look like!

That will teach him to buy me a lovely new craft lamp to put in my room .. .. I can see colours to work much better even when it gets dark now.

So with not appearing here on my blog yesterday I thought this card would be fun:

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "3831H" Sentiments
Sentiment:  Computer Generated
Backing Papers:  Fancy Pants "Swagger"
Woodware Punches:  Label
Nestabilities:  Square and Scalloped Square
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
ProMarkers
Diamond Stickles
Eyelet and Twine from my Stash Box

What makes you think I have been asked for a few belated birthday cards LOL!!!

So tonight has seen another wedding come to an end.  Table plan, table names and place-names have been collected and finished my journey with another "happy couple".  But not just the couple because with this wedding I have also got quite close to the Bride's Mum and even met her Dad too.  How lovely!

You may remember me mentioning this bride last year after our first meeting  .. .. she will be getting married next Friday .. .. on Valentine's Day.  Super romantic.

That means the emptying out of their work boxes ready for someone else to take ownership of them .. .. and that could be as soon as tomorrow as I have another "happy couple" wanting to meet up and discuss their wedding in the afternoon. It is really weird how as one wedding finishes another always seems to start.

Anyway, it is Friday evening and the weekend is ahead .. .. which means a fish and chip supper cooked by the lovely Mr Heart!

Are fish and chips classed as romantic if I have to have those next Friday for Valentine's Day?  Answers on a postcard please. LOL!!

Have a lovely evening and weekend.

Love

Fantastic take on a belated card and you couldn't have found a better image, but you knew that of course. Love the tad of red and as they seem to say these days it 'pops'
My Sister got married for the first time on Valentine's Day, lasted 6 years but in all honesty if I'd have married him it would have only lasted 6 months.
In the words of the song "dry your eye's mate, there's plenty more fish in the sea" how romantic is that?

Hi Jules, love your cute card, the image and layout is just great.
How marvellous to be so much part of the wedding plans, by creating a very personal part of them , the wedding stationery. You must feel so chuffed to see the delight of the couple when you've completed the order. Hugs Kate X

Awww, so cute this card is Jules! I love that "letter" paper and that little tag is just adorable! I think this little fella is just too cute and I love his cheesy grin with his mail sack! That little pop of red really makes this card come alive. Love, love it! I hope the flooding over there soon stops, I know a lot of people are struggling with their homes flooding. I will pray for all. Glad that you aren't experiencing it! Hugs!

A real sweetie Jules with a perfect sentiment. My granddad used to have a fish and chip shop in Rotherham and whenever he came to stay with me would always cook them, made an almighty mess but so delicious. I think it would definitely count as a romantic meal. Susan x

Your card is lovely Jules and the sentiment is just great for a belated birthday card. Sounds like happy couples are keeping you busy. And of course, fish and chip supper is romantic if you are eating them with your loved one.

ANY food cooked by your SO is romantic! Oh sorry, I didn't have a postcard handy. Your card made me smile and it is perfect for a late blog post as well. You picked the best background paper for it!! I've never seen that Penny Black stamp before. I can tell that my life is definitely lacking without it.

I spy lots of loveliness as I stroll through here, Jules. Your book made with your new binding machine was particularly lovely and the sentiment on this belated card is brilliant. Hope you are well and happy! Hugs, Lesley
