My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

SUNDAY SNIPPETS

Hi Everyone

Happy Sunday and happy May.  I hope you are having a nice relaxing bank holiday weekend.

Trying hard here in the House of Hearts to use up some of the old paper pads that only have a few bits left in them .. .. .. after all how can you warrant having any more if you haven't used the old ones LOL!!

So this creation has helped a little in my quest .. .. though I have to admit to it being one of my favourite pads.  I love the colours.

As always on a Sunday I am lazy and don't list my ingredients (sorry Kath), but if there is anything you need to know you only need to ask.

But not too lazy because this card follows a sketch which I have designed today and added to my little sketch library tab at the top of my blog.  If you fancy using any of the sketches on there anytime then please feel free to do so.

So that is me for today .. .. it just leaves me to head over with my make to Pixie's Snippets Playground .. .. grab my maypole and run before the fun is over.  I hope the rain doesn't send all my crepe paper flowers soggy and droopy LOL!!!

Have a lovely rest of Sunday everyone  . .. .. . catch you again soon.

Love

Wow Jules, what an absolutely fabulous sketch and such a great card you made. A wonderful use of snippets - I do love your inlaid Happy Birthday die cut and am going to ask you which one it is please. Really good (modern looking) Happy Birthday dies aren't so easy to find and this is a beauty! Listen, if you run out of patterned papers - let me know and I'll send you some of mine - they're breeding here!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend with your Mr Heart.

Hugs

I meant to say in my comment - I had to wear a vest until the end of May as a kid! And sometimes even a Liberty bodice :(

Beautiful card, love all the papers especially the little flower one, great sketch and the little flower is a great idea with using all the papers.
I need to use up a lot too, so I definitely need to doing this sort of thing.
Have a good week.

Totally stunning card. Love the colors. It would be my favorite paper pad too. I love how you put so much detail into this card. The stitching is amazing. By hand or machine??
I love the layering and really like the happy birthday. Will have to try that technique someday. So up to bat and YOU HIT A HOME RUN. Glad to have you on my playground! Very inspiring!
