My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

WHAT A SLACK BLOGGER!

Hi Everyone

Happy Tuesday and happy August!

Apologies for being so quiet on my blog .. .. .. I could say that life has been getting in the way of making an appearance .. .. but that would be a fib.

It is actually weddings that have been keeping me away.

I have had a lovely bride on my books since March 2014 and it has been such a pleasure to work for her.  Her wedding is nearly here .. .. after all this time .. .. and she is making the two hour round trip to collect everything at the weekend.  All I can say is that it is a good job she has access to a van.  No way would everything fit into a car!!

I can't believe our journey is nearly over :-(  We have worked on everything from "save the dates" to "thank you" cards .. .. and everything you can think of that goes in-between.

So I have been super busy doing all the last  minute work for her .. .. which will finish tomorrow with the sticking down of the table plan.  Something I always have to have complete silence for .. .. and of course my tongue sticking out in concentration LOL!!

But at the same time I have also been completing other orders and making samples for new happy couples that are coming onto the scene.  Busy times!!!

No inking up my stamps and grabbing my ProMarkers .. .. except to produce this teeny tiny Tuesday make .. .. which has taken ages to make because it has been done in stages over several days. Who would have thought that a 3.5" square card could take so long to complete?

But never mind .. .. at least I have something I can share:

This used:

Image:  Hobby Art Stamps "CS125D" Peonies (I love peonies though you don't see many with sparkly edges do you?)
Sentiment and Backing Paper:  Pink Petticoat (sadly no longer trading)
Distress Ink Pad:  Worn Lipstick
ProMarkers
Glossy Accents
Quickie Glue Pen and Crystal Glamour Dust
My Trusty Sewing Machine
We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board

and that is all.

I would like to say that I will see you again soon .. .. but instead I think I had better just say "I'll see you when I do" as there is still lots I need to be cracking on with .. .. and we won't even mention Christmas!!!  That stock box is looking decidedly lacking!!

Love Jules xx

This is such a pretty little card and great to see you back. It is really good that your business is doing so well and it must give great job satisfaction when it all comes together even if it does encroach on your personal crafting time.

Hi Jules what a wonderful sense of satisfaction you must get when you've completed an order and the bride is so pleased, this one sounds like it was a huge task.
Beautiful card, gorgeous colours, Kate x

Good morning Jules. It is good that you are so busy and very rewarding when it all comes together for you and the happy couple. Your little card is beautiful as ever. I love peonies though their blooms don't seem to last long do they? Take care...xx
