My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE

Hi Everyone

Happy Thursday!

Can't believe the week is flying by so quickly!  But at least I am back to knowing what day it is .. .. which is always a bonus.

As suspected there was no "playtime" available yesterday.  It was weddings all the way, right into the evening.

But I "needed" a card today so before the day took hold I created this little make using the guidelines provided by the lovely Mrs A over at the Butterfly Challenge.  I haven't managed to use all the elements on the wheel .. .. I am missing one .. .. but am happy with my selections which were:

Image (mine was stamped and heat embossed but you can use a digi image too)
Colours:  Ivory, Imperial Purple and  Iceburg
Include a Die Cut
and of course the compulsory element  .. .. ..  A BUTTERFLY

This used:

Image:  Crafter's Companion "Flutterby"
Sentiment:  Penny Black "Sentiment Collection"  30-350
Backing Paper:  First Edition Paper "Wild Flower"
Winsor and Newton Watercolours
Crystal Glamour Dust
Flat backed pearls
My Trusty Sewing Machine
Oooo .. .. and have you found the teeny tiny die-cut?  LOL!!!

and that is me for today.

Back to the wedding work now before heading off to Mum later.
