A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

CHRISTMAS ?!?!?!?

Hi Everyone

I hope you had a good weekend and a happy Monday!  Our wedding fayre was another good one and we met some lovely new happy couples.

Today "some" of my new year resolutions have come into play (there are sooooo many of them!! LOL!!!)

I have told myself that this year I want November and December to be much calmer than last year .. .. there was so much wedding work that I just didn't have enough time to make as many cards as my customers and I wanted .. .. .. and I have to admit that I actually missed playing with all of my Christmas crafting goodies.

So today I took a bit of colouring with me to my Mum's and then when I got home tonight made the following:

This used:

Image and Sentiment:  Hampton Art Stamps "4611" Rudolph
Backing Papers: My Minds Eye "Joyous"
ProMarkers
Crystal Glamour Dust
Metallic Ribbon

So this little make has covered a few new years resolutions .. ..

1.  Make Christmas cards ALL year
2.  Use up old paper stacks
3.  Enter more Challenges

This card was made especially for a brand new fortnightly challenge called "Christmas Kickstart Challenge" which has been started by one of my lovely blog buddies "Dotty Jo"

and the theme for the first challenge is "Rudolph and Friends".

Christmas card number 1 in the box!!!  Yay!!!

I didn't get to use all of my seasonal 'stuff' either which may have been due to time restraints but probably more likely that I have much more than I NEED!!! This is a lovely card to start off your collection, beautifully coloured and such a lovable Rudolph. Thanks for the link to the challenge blog

A super card Jules, Rudolph is gorgeous and you've coloured him beautifully.
I'm so pleased that the Wedding Fayre went well and good luck with your resolution - I make that one every year and usually fail dismally!

What a wonderful image and card Jules, love it.
My resolution is to cut way down on crafting goods, and to be more discerning in what I do buy, Kate x x

Hello Jules, long time since I last came by. Just realised why as I was no longer following you. Now corrected. Love your Rudolph with his rosy red nose. Hugs Mrs A.
