My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

BEST FISHES

Hi Everyone

Happy Saturday and happy weekend!!  Not that the weather is looking very promising.

I hope you are all well and life is being kind to you.

Once again my poor little blog has suffered from lack of activity .. .. .. but we will blame Mr Heart for that LOL!!  He has been on annual leave which always throws my little world into chaos.

But hopefully things are about to return to some sense of normality .. .. well as normal as things ever get around here.

Lots of general cards needed here so I thought I would use the Penny Black Saturday Challenge as inspiration for my first make of the day.  Every month their theme is "anything goes" (as long as it features Penny Black goodies of course) .. .. and with an additional theme this month of "water" or "watercolour".

I was also determined to use up some of my ever increasing mountain of snippets so that I could make an appearance at Pixie's Snippets Playground where we are encouraged to use up our leftovers.

Edited to say that the lovely Kath has let me know that my card will also fit into the Penny Black and More Challenge this week where the theme is "For Boys or Men".  Thanks Kath xx

So here is what I came up with:

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "2062K" Fish are Jumpin
Sentiment:  Computer Generated using font Aracne Condensed Regular
Backing Papers:  Pink Petticoat
ProMarkers
Glossy Accents
Diamond Stickles
Nail Heads
My Trusty Sewing Machine

and that is me for today.

Before I go though I would just like to thank everyone for your lovely comments on my previous post .. .. but I do need to point out that I didn't actually colour the image myself (wish I could colour like that!!!). The image was precoloured by Polkadoodles.

Catch you again soon.

Although tomorrow and Tues, it will be hot once again, but then I think we are going back to this beautiful weather once again. I love, love, love your sweet little card. The image is darling and I so love the sentiment. Hugs, Brenda

A super card Jules, such a fun image and your papers are perfect. It certainly makes a lot of difference when the men are around all day doesn't it - my hubby took early retirement, it's been nearly two years now and it took a very long time for us to get into a new routine, it's great now, the best thing he ever did.
