My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

BLUEBELLS

Hi Everyone

Happy Tuesday!

Here today with a card for the As You See It Challenge where this week we have to fill in the blank in the following sentence:

MY FAVOURITE
FIRST FLOWER
OF SPRING
IS ........................

I love all the Spring flowers that appear in my garden.  It is always lovely to see them bringing the garden back to life again after the dullness of winter .. but my favourite is the

BLUEBELL

It is just a shame they don't stay around for very long .. .. .. which means .. .. .. as with most things in life .. .. .. we have to make the most of them and appreciate them while we can.

So here is my creation:

This used:

Image:  Bluebell (A very, very old and much loved digi image from Christine Dark - she doesn't have a store anymore sadly but used to be called Sketching Stamper .. .. .. just in case you have downloads from the olden days lurking on your computer).
Backing paper .. .. .. from the snippet box
Die Set:  Julie Hickey Rectangle Layers, Frames and Banners
ProMarkers

and that is me for today.

Trying to get lots crossed of my "must do" list this week so have had to blow the dust off the alarm clock .. .. .. what a shock!!!  LOL!!!

Take care everyone.

Hi Jules,

A gorgeous bluebell digi and a beautiful card.

I am a friend of Christine and many years ago, we worked together in The Craft Barn as Tutors and demonstrators. So we do keep in touch.

We had thunder storms this afternoon. So no gardening today,

Love and hugs,
Carol xxxx

A really lovely image and a great design, lovely subtle papers too. The very old skipping chant comes to mind here. We do not have bluebells in our garden but in the 'what we call, The Banking' at the back of out house is full of them.

A fabulous card Julies. Bluebells are one of my favourite flowers too - they remind me of my nan who used to take me and my sister to a local wood to collect bluebells to give to our mum.

A super bluebell image, beautifully coloured. It is always good to see the Spring flowers and so difficult to select a favourite. If I glance out of the window at the moment I can see lilac and laburnum which both look really pretty waving in the breeze.

A gorgeous card Jules. I would have a problem with this question as I love the see the Crocus with their heads popping up through the grass. Then I love to see the daffodils, which always seem to signal the coming of spring and warmer weather. Followed by the tulips and now it's the turn of the Bluebell and the Clematis which covers my fence panels prolifically. I love seeing all of the flowers opening as the season progresses. Have a great week.

A pretty card Jules, a beautiful stamp - the bluebells are going over in our area - like you say, it's a shame they don't last very long.

Wowza, this is fabulous! We don't have bluebells here where I live, but I know our sweet little lilies of the valley don't last long either! Thank goodness we have stamps so we can enjoy them forever, right!? Thanks for sharing this beauty with us at As You See It this week!

That's a beauty Jules. We still have quite a lot of bluebells still in bloom, they usually appear at the beginning of April but, like everything else, were much later this year xx

Wow! Gorgeous colouring job on the bluebells, Jules! I like the way you have them center stage! They certainly deserve top billing! We don't get bluebells where I live but I bet they would top my list of favourites if we did! Thanks for sharing your favourite spring flower with us at As You See It Challenges!

Your bluebells are fabulous, Jules. I'd forgotten about them but I have a patch of them that pop up every year and look amazing. Your colouring is gorgeous and the scallop edged rectangle makes a good frame for them. Thanks for joining us at As You See It Challenge.

Jules your bluebells are beautifully coloured and so realistic. There is something quite special about seeing a bluebell wood in full bloom, for sure. Thanks for playing along with us over at As You See It this week!
