My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

CHRISTMAS KICKSTART CHALLENGE

Hi Everyone

Not quite so bright and beautiful here today weatherwise .. .. .. but the air is much fresher and there is a chance of some rain .. .. which isn't a bad thing really as the gardens and the reservoirs really do need it.

Sharing a card today for taking over to the Christmas Kickstart Challenge where the theme is

"Let's Wreath it Up"

and this is what I have created:

This used:

Wreath Die:  Cheap and cheerful from Amazon here
Sentiment:  Computer generated
Backing paper I think was part of a Christmas pad from The Works ages ago
Ribbon
Corner Rounding Punch
My Trusty Sewing Machine

A fun card to make that didn't involve me actually needing to do any die cutting at all because I had a little storage box full of leftover circles and wreath outlines from identical cards I have made previously .. .. and in a wide variety of colours.  So it was just a case of gluing the outline down and fitting the circles into the gaps.

Hope your week is going well and no-one has ended up with sunburn.

I promise not to make my next post a Christmas one.  I know for a lot of people it is far too early to be making them, or even thinking about them .. .. .. but I just have to squeeze them in any chance I get.

It's never too early to make a start on Christmas cards and, of course, I guess that's the aim of the various seasonal challenges which run throughout the year 😉. Well done for raiding your collection of die cuts and coloured circles to come up with this beauty. Interesting effect with the striped paper for the wreath.

Bring on all the Christmas cards I say!!
Well done for keeping the die cuts from previous cards - I would have put them in a 'safe place' never to be found again!!
Hope you are not melting in the heat and have a wonderful weekend.
Love Eve xxx
