My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

ANOTHER SPECIAL VALENTINE

Hi Everyone

Quite a windy day here today .. .. so windy in fact that I have managed to dry my towels outside today .. .. mmmmm.... they smell lovely!!  I love the smell of washing that has dried outdoors!!

Today's share is another boxed valentine card that I have been asked to make.

This used:

Backing Papers:  Pink Petticoat "Just An Old Fashioned Girl"
Sentiment:  Computer Generated
Marianne Design Die:  LR0115 "Butterfly"
Sizzix Dies:  "656425" Box and Lid (for Big Shot Pro) - "654680" Scallop Tag
Martha Stewart Punches:   Valentine Lace and Doily Lace
Nestabilities:  Small Deckled Mega Rectangles
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder:  Roses (folder inked before putting through the machine)
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Distress Ink:  Tattered Rose
Embossing Tinsel:  Bridal
Flowers, Ribbons, Feathers, Pearls and Gem from the Stash Box.

Phew!!! What a lot of ingredients.  No wonder my work desk looks like a bomb has hit it.  I think a big clear up campaign is on the cards along with a good old blog catch up.

I have been that busy sorting out my laptop and stuff that I am a bit behind on my visiting .. .. so hopefully I will be putting that to rights later.

Plus .... for those that couldn't find the heart last night ... it is here ...

Tee hee !!!

Don't forget that Anice is showing off the new Funky Hand CD "Crafty the Year Away" tomorrow on Create and Craft .. .. two live stints ..  the first at 10.00am and then again at 2.00pm.  I hope you get chance to watch.

Love

Wow Jules, this is absolutely gorgeous. Wish I was on the receiving end of such a fabulous creation. Someone is definitely going to get brownie points when they hand that over on the 14th, lol!

I was really annoyed yesterday because my OH put my whirlygig down a few weeks ago and it's so big I can't put it back up (that's what happens when you don't go with a man to buy something that they never use). I only said at the weekend that we'd get a nice day for drying the washing and I would have to waste it but he still didn't put it back up for me, sigh!!!!

Hugs

Jules - that card is so beautiful and elegant. I like you used traditional colors and incorporated one of the roses onto the box tag. Which BTW could stand alone on the face of a card as well.
Ph and the butterfly die ..... Ohhhhhh. I want one!
Gorgeous work as usual Jules. You are inspiring, thank you!!
