My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE - WEEK 165

Hi Everyone

Hope you have had a lovely Saturday .. .. hubby is well pleased .. .. his football team won AGAIN!!!!

That is now four wins on the trot .. .. WOW!!!

I have been busy with wedding work whilst hubby was out and about and have just finished up for the day with a card for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge where this week the theme is "Shabby Chic".

Here is my creation:

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "3864F" Bohemian
Sentiment:  Penny Black "3849E" Birthday Dreams
Backing Paper:  this was a piece of card from a stand at the NEC a year or so ago . ... you know one of those where you fill a huge plastic box for £5!!!
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder:  Roses
Woodware Punch:  Inverted Corner
ProMarkers
Gold Embossing Powder (embossed over black ink to try and make it look a bit rustic .. not sure I managed it though LOL!!)
Liquid Pearls
Pearls, flower and seam binding from the Stash Box

and that is it!!

Just time to clear away all the ribbons, feathers, card samples and bling off my dining room table now that the happy couple have left and then to the bath for a long bubbly soak and a glass of something good!!

Have a lovely evening everyone.

See you tomorrow with my snippet makes and the register of all the lovely people who played along last week!!

Love

Jules this is a very eye catching card. Not sure what it is that makes it so but when I saw it I just went wow!

You've added lots of fine touches and detail yet it all adds to rather than overpowers your card. It's lovely.
Cheers,
