My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

SHIVER ME TIMBERS!!

Hi Everyone

I hope Monday has been good for you .. .. it has definitely been "very warm" in my little neck of the woods.

I would just like to say a very big thank you to everyone who very kindly commented on my snippet makes of yesterday.  Isn't it strange that the one which was the most popular (the Sillouette Grass one) was my least favourite!!

Anyway, round to tonight's share:

This used:

Image:  Lili of the Valley "Land Ahoy"
Sentiment:  Woodware Clear Stamps "FRCL037" By The Sea
Backing Papers:  DCWV "All About Boys" Stack
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
ProMarkers
Diamond Stickles

Have a great evening everyone and before I go I just want to share an award that was given to me by the lovely Kasey .. .. thank you so much for thinking of me Kasey!!

Here is my lovely award:

and as part of accepting this I have to list five things about me that you may not know .. .. difficult because I am sure you know me inside out by now!!

But anyway here we go:

1.   It took me a long time to learn how to swim .. .. and even now I am not a very strong swimmer .. .. but I do enjoy a dip in a pool .. .. preferably one I am not sharing with a classroom full of kids!!

2.   I can remember having a "little accident" when I was in the very first year of infants school.  If this happened you used to have to sit in the hall with your wet underpants on top of the radiator - everyone could see you as they went out at playtime and you had to sit there until they were dry.  Not nice :-(

3.  I used to be in the school band and played the clarinet

4.  I don't like the sea (perhaps because I am not a very good swimmer).

5.  I was hoping to win the Euromillions the other week (along with everyone else).  You know, when the prize was amazing (and far too much) .. .. we daydreamed for ages about what we would do with the prize .. .. but I made it clear that I would still want to make my cards and wedding stationery and perhaps have a little extension on the back of the house rather than use the little bedroom.

Hubby laughed and said he would have a house purpose built and I could have my own craft space exactly how I wanted it.  Apparently the interest alone on the prize would have been £7,000 a day .. .. oh wow what a lot of craft stash I could have had and we could have had some amazing blog candy on my blog.  Sorry I didn't win folks!!!  :-(

I have already explained to Kasey that I am naughty and do not pass my awards on .. .. that must have been OK because she hasn't asked for it back .. .. but if you would like to take it then please do.  I would give it to every blog everywhere.  Thanks again Kasey.

Catch you all again tomorrow.

Love

Hi Jules,
Another absolutely perfect and adorable card!! Your papers are perfect again and I love the little yacht you've made.

I can't swim at all so you're better than me. I've always been afraid of water and my teacher in second year juniors threw me in the pool so that was that!! I do like to sit by the sea though, especially if it's in Greece! xx

You are just killing me with your adorable cards. Love the image (obviously since I have yet to see a LOTV stamp I don't love); Love the DP; Love the coloring; love the layout; and absolutely adore that cute little boat you cut and folded for an embellishment. Too bad you didn't win Lotto, I'd come and visit and play with all your cool stamp stuff. :)

PS: Warm? How warm? anything below 100 would feel like a cool spring day to me. It's 108 in my neck of the woods.... I believe Hell is coming in at 105; so that makesTexas hotter than Hell right about now. LOL!!! Come on fall and winter!!!

Hugs to you.
Carole
