My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

AHOY THERE ...

Hi Everyone

Well where has the Bank Holiday weekend gone :-( ?

I have only just noticed the time and couldn't believe the day has gone so quickly .. .. and I got up early too so it isn't as if I wasted my time by lying in bed!!

I have had a wedding invitation pick up this morning and a table plan planning session with another "happy couple" this afternoon so I suppose that will answer for a good part of it.  Time just flies when you are having fun I suppose.

But I did have a little play .. ..

This used:

Image and Sentiments:  Woodware Clear Stamps "FRCL073" By The Sea
Backing Papers:  Nitwits "Aye aye Captain"
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Glamour Dust
ProMarkers
Distress Ink:  Tumbled Glass

So guess what I have got to do next .. .. .. yep .. .. the dreaded ironing.   Some has been in that there basket for far too long!!

Think I might have a soak in the bath first in the hope of "livening my ideas up"!!   LOL!!!  That is something Mum said to us as kids if we weren't moving quickly enough.  She would say "for goodness sake liven your ideas up".  Tee hee!!

A few people asked about the image I used on my snippet make yesterday .. .. it is actually from Pink Petticoat and you will find it here.

I hope you have all had a great bank holiday break.

Love

Super sweet card Jules and I almost missed the heart. Quite agree - where did this BH day go? At least we didn't miss any sunshine. Don't go mad with that ironing - crafting is much more fun !! x

Ah, ironing - can you wait and I'll pop mine into the car and come down the motorway? Suppose I shall have to do it tomorrow.. so ill disciplined I am! This is a nice card Jules - and if our weather doesn't improve very soon I shall be needing one of these to get about!

Ahoy Jules
Brilliant card. Love that backing papers with anchors, the image and sentiments are great and so is the background with clouds you created.
It has been very wet and even stormy weather today where I live.

Hi Jules I feel just the same about the weekend - it vanished in a blink of the eye! I love your sailboat card - who'd have thought those colours could be so nautical! Your mum's saying made me smile. Whenever I'm trying to get up in the morning and need to 'liven my ideas up' I make a list - that soon gets me up! Vicky x
