My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

SUNDAY SNIPPETS

Hi Everyone

I hope you have all had a happy Sunday.

Mine seems to have been one of those days that don't come around very often .. .. the sort where everything goes to plan .. .. and you get loads done!!!  Why can't every day be like today?

So much fitted in already .. .. and the day hasn't ended yet!!!   A trip with my Mum and siblings to the cemetery ahead of the anniversary of us losing the head of our family 21 years ago :-(   Tomato plants planted up in the greenhouse.  A bit of wedding work.  The wash basket is empty .. .. and the ironing basket is just about empty too (just waiting for a couple of shirts to dry on the line and then I will be bang up to date), dinner nicely on its way and my snippet makes for this week complete .. .. woo hoo!!

Football has been on whilst I have been ironing and we have been watching the Man City match.  We were desperate for Man City to win and were not disappointment.  I haven't seen such an exciting match in ages.  But in the process I have given myself a sore throat my squealing and shouting at the TV .. .. not that Man City are our team .. ..  we just wanted them to finish the league in top slot.

So here is my share for today

and I enjoyed making it that much that I made another too .. .. the same but different LOL!!!

As usual I am super lazy on a Sunday and do not list my ingredients .. .. usually because they are such a strange mix from lots of different paper collection.  But of course if there is anything you want to query then ask away and I will try my best to work out what I used.

I love making this card so much that the stamps never get taken off the acrylic block .. .. they are there in permanent residency sitting waiting to be used.  In fact I have lost count of how many times I have made this card and every time it looks completely different.

Right off to link up to Pixie's Crafty Snippet Challenge and then to the kitchen to sort some vegetables out and mix some yorkshire pudding.  Snippet gates are open for two weeks this week so the link will go back to last Sunday's post.

See you again tomorrow and thanks for calling by.

Is it just me or is anyone else being thrown off blogs and being given an error message?!!  Grrrr!!!!

Enjoy what is left of Sunday.

Love

It's definitely been an in the garden weekend, this week, Jules. The sunshine has been wonderful and the wind perfect drying weather. I have done three lots and it's all ironed and put away. Yes I am feeling smug. A case of necessity this week as I shall be out of action from Tuesday onwards after having a small Op in hospital, yuck!! Still lots of excuse for rest and crafting afterwards hopefully.
Your cards are gorgeous. I love the flowers you've been using. I've never tried heating ribbon, it always looks a bit scary to me!!
Hope you have a good week.

These are beautiful Jules. I love the flower stamps and the silver centres look really pretty! Gorgeous papers and layout!
Blogger has been behaving a bit strange last few days. I got an error message on some blogs and others seem to be taking ages to load - it makes commenting very slow!!
Hope you've had a lovely weekend

Two lovely cards Jules ... I am impressed by them but more impressed by your empty wash basket and ironing pile. I never seem to get up to date with mine ... think I'm doing well then one of my sons will bring more dirty clothes down. We were glad Man City won too - don't like the other lot. Hubby and Son been to watch Wigan Athletics' last match so they're happy tonight as they won again.

Wow, you have been busy today, l feel quite lazy compared lol. Not sure whether to plant some tommies again this year, we tried potatoes last year but were sadly disappointed.

Now your ironing and washing are up to date, would you like to pop round and do mine please????

Great cards Jules, love the colours you have chosen and the stamp is gorgeous, l see why you like it.

Have a great evening, take care xx

Hi again Jules, these are lovely and I like both versions too. Sounds like you had the perfect day though I don't think anyone else celebrates ironing the way you do :) The match was terrific and my man from Manchester, the EM, was delighted even though he doesn't follow the footie much - more a snooker kind of guy. Hope today is going as well as yesterday did for you. Hugs, Elizabeth x
