My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

FROM OUR HOME TO YOURS

Hi Everyone

I hope your Saturday has been good.

The weather was lovely for my "happy couple" today .. .. yay!!!

Not brilliant sunshine .. .. you can't really expect that in the middle of November can you .. .. but it was dry and certainly wasn't cold or windy!! What more could you want?

Whilst doing a bit of Christmas shopping for a crafty little friend today I saw these little aperture cards .. .. not worked with any of these since I used to do my cross-stitch cards "many" years ago .. .. but when I looked at them my one and only Memory Box die sprang into my mind with this little idea .. ..

This used:

Sentiment:  Hobby Art Clear "CS010D" Town House Scene-Its
Memory Box Die:  Modern Landscape Border
Not sure where the snowflake backing paper has come from but if I find out I will add it
My Trusty Sewing Machine
White Gel Pen
Ribbon, snowflake and embellishment from my Stash Box

For some reason one of my photographs didn't want to align properly tonight no matter what I did with it .. .. so patience went out of the window and I have deleted it!!  Serves it right!!!  LOL!!!

I'll catch you again tomorrow with my snippets.

Have a lovely evening.

Love

This little village is perfect for the aperture! Love how you drew the windows and the snow on the roof. I'll have to remember that when I get a chance to play with mine.

Oh yes - what a great way to use up those aperture cards. I've got some oval ones stash away somewhere - only ever used a couple. Forgot they were there. That memory box border is perfect for the little framed scene.
