My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

XMAS KISS

Hi Everyone

Well I was a good girl today and used lots of those images I coloured whilst away in York .. .. and this one was my favourite makes of the day which fits in nicely in with Sandra's  Rudolph Day Challenge.

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "2754H" Xmas Kiss
Sentiment:  Computer generated using font "Zipty Do"
Backing Papers:  Lili of the Valley "Classic Christmas"
Martha Stewart Punch:  Glacial Snowflake (may no longer be available)
Die-namics:  Traditional Tags Stax
Spellbinders Nestabilities:  Classic Oval and Scallop Oval
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
My Trust Sewing Machine
ProMarkers
Glamour Dust
Ribbons, cord and Eyelet from Stash Box

Yes, Christmas needs to arrive in the House of Hearts big time .. .. lots of makes needed!!!!

I was asked a few questions yesterday:

1.  Do I always colour with ProMarkers?  I would say probably 90% of the time.  Perhaps I should show some of the makes I do with other colouring mediums sometime!!

2.  Did I find any craft shops in York?  I have to say I didn't purposely set out to find any craft shops .. .. I am sure my lovely hubby must be sick of the sight of craft shops LOL!!!!  .. but he never complains.

However, we did "stumble upon" a few places that I enjoyed looking in .. .. one being a little place called "Duttons for Buttons" who stocked lots of lovely buttons and ribbon.  An artists supply shop at the end of the Shambles called "The Art Shop" .. .. and then Paperchase.  I had a fabby time in there and parted with a few of my hard earned English pound whilst hubby went into HMV.

Catch you again soon and have a lovely weekend everyone.  I hope you find some crafty time!!

Love

Lovely card Jules, love the image it is so sweet, and the papers are gorgeous, love the tartan, well I would being a Scot. Your design is great.

I'm getting to like my Prismacolour Pencils more and more, but sometimes it depends on what the image is, some lend themselves more to the inks others the subtle look that pencils give, hugs Kate x

Hi Jules, how I love LOTV designs, your card is so lovely. I tend to buy the pre-coloured toppers as I have not mastered colouring them yet, still practicing.

What lovely Christmassy papers, and such a gorgeous Penny Black hedgie! (I love PB!)

My poor hubbie tends to be dragged from craft shop to art shop whenever we go away. Next time I'll try to find an HMV or Game for him to visit so he can browse the computer games! Bless him, he is quite patient with my craft obsession!!!
