My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

THE SAME BUT DIFFERENT

Hi Everyone

I hope you had a good weekend .. .. Monday soon comes around again doesn't it?

A quick share today of two wedding acceptance cards .. .. the same but different as I have tailored them to suit the wedding colours.

These cards are actually quite tiny but look huge in the photograph. The base cards are only 11.5cm x 9cm (get me talking metric .. .. it is only because that is all that is on the ruler that I have to hand LOL!!).

Anyway, here are my tiny makes

These both used the same ingredients which were:

Backing Papers: Papermania "Exquisite" Paper Collection
Martha Stewart Punch: Valentine Lace
Sentiment: Computer Generated
Josy Rose: Nail Heads
Diamond Stickles
Ribbon and sparkly peel off from the stash box

I quite like working with small cards - even though I know the trend now is for "BIG" cards. Personally I am not a fan!! Big isn't always beautiful.

Right back to it for me, lots to do!!!

Thank you for calling by and for your comments .. .. I really do appreciate them.

See you again soon.

Love Jules xx

They may be dinky Jules, but as my Mum (who is also dinky) always says 'Good things come in little packages!' and these are no exception. They're lovely.

Phew, think I've caught up now. I'm only away for a couple of days and you've been so busy, Lol!

These are beautiful, Jules and I agree with you, smaller is definitely better. I'm not a fan of big cards either.
Glad you had a good party. I had to laugh at you getting up full of energy. We went to a Wedding on Saturday and I could have stayed in bed all day yesterday!!!! I could have done with a bit of your enthusiasm!!

These are lovely, Jules, very elegant.

I fully understand where you're coming from on the size issue. I too tend towards smaller things (even though I have been known to make a BIG card if the occasion warranted it). I often wonder, though, whether my preference for miniatures may have something to do with the fact that my craft room is very small and there is seldom much working space on my desk!
