My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

Rainbow Stripey Stripes

Hi Everyone

I hope you are having a lovely Monday  .. ..  mine has been a bit quiet without hubby about .. .. so I have had to make do with the radio to compensate.

Today is just a quick share from me featuring a new download that Anice has brought out over at Funky Hand.  The download is called "Rainbow Stripey Stripes" and it matches the Rainbow Polkadot download that was recently released.

Here you can see one of the samples I made using the stripey stripes:

This used:

Backing Papers:  Funky Hand "Rainbow Stripey Stripes"
Marianne Designs:  Butterfly Die
Martha Stewart Punch:  Traditional Scallop and Frond
Woodware Punch:  Circle (for making the roses)
Distress Ink:  Tea Dye .. .. for distressing the edge of the roses
Ribbons and Gems from the stash box

Well it must be my lucky day.  We are just starting a thunder and lightening storm with mega rain and hailstones .. .. thank goodness I did my token offer of gardening first thing this morning and got my mail into the post box about 30 minutes ago otherwise the phrase "drowned rat" would be coming to mind!!  LOL!!!

Just the greenhouse door to close but hopefully the storm will have passed before I need worry about that!!

Have a lovely evening everyone.

See you again tomorrow.

Love

Hi Jules, Beautiful card! I love the butterfly and pretty roses.

No rain here in Norfolk. We had a light shower yesterday morning but that's all we have had in weeks. Not good news for the farmers.

Gorgeous Jules, I love the flowers, so pretty.
The rains put paid to your gardening then, good job you got so much done whilst your hubby was off, does this mean you'll have more crafting time!

Fab card, Jules! Your rolled roses look wonderful! I got rained on as I crossed Sainsbury's car park. It wasn't too bad when I first got out of the car, but drowned rat was a fairly good description when I reached the store!I think we got it about an hour after your post.

Gorgeous. I love the gold and brown with the pink. Never thought to use those colors together; they are a very elegant combination.

I have to ask; how do you get the butterfly out of the die without wrecking it?? I have that die and every time I use it, it's a nightmare getting the butterfly out. I have yet to do one successfully. :(

Hugs to you,
Carole

Your papers are gorgeous and paired up with gold gives this card an elegant and classic chic look that I just love. I just keep staring at the flowers; they are stunning! Gorgeous card!

We also had some rain last evening and night but the weather is still amazing. Temperatures are exceptional for spring in Holland; it looks and feels like it's already summer!
