My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

THE STAMP FAIRY CHALLENGE

Hi Everyone

Well after reporting to you about the thunder storm yesterday .. .. we had so much rain it was unbelievable. The water was running down the road like a river!! I bet all the little plants were well happy!!

My water butt is certainly filling up nicely.

Anyway, round to my share of the day and this one is for the Stamp Fairy Challenge where this week there is a sketch to follow.

and a mega close up because he is so darn cute!!!

This used:

Image: The Stamp Fairy - Lenny Notes
Sentiment:  Woodware Clear Stamps "FRCL022" Girl Talk
Backing Papers: DCWV - Latte Stack
Nestabilities: Standard Circles Large, Classic Scalloped Circles Large
Sizzix Die: 654995 Stars #2
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder:  Swiss Dots
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
ProMarkers
Buttons and Cord from the stash box

I was lucky enough to win the challenge again last week over at the Stamp Fairy and my image today was one of my prizes .. .. I think I lurve Lenny!!!

I need to make a few male cards and so today's card is one of them.  However the same sketch and image could easily be used for a female card, or a childs card.  Very versatile!!

If you fancy playing along here is the sketch.

So tonight sees the start of one of my favourite TV programmes .. .. The Apprentice .. .. yay!!!

My blog buddy Keryn and I have chosen three candidates each to see who goes the furthest in the competition.

My three are:
Susan Ma
Natasha Scribbins
Tom Pellereau

Remember those names .. .. one will go this week, the other next week (or later this week?  there might be two shows this week) and the other the week after that.  Get down the bookies quick  LOL!!!!

Have a lovely evening whatever you are doing.

Love

Hi Jules, great card, I love the Lenny images and recently bought a few. Just wanted to let you know I can't take part in the snippet challenge for the next few weeks as I am on holiday, but I am storing the inspiring ideas until I can play again.

What would we do without the radio for company when the house is quiet. I even find myself talking to it-first signs of madness and all that!!
We haven't had much rain at all and thankfully no storms but the garden could still do with more of a drink. I feel torn between the sunshine for me and the rain for them!!
He certainly is a cute teddy and I'm loving that sketch.

Great card Jules, I love the colour theme as it is really elegant. The image is really versatile and you've coloured him beautifully. Glad to hear you're also someone who can look on rain as a good thing for the garden and water butts (I get really pleased when mine are full of garden goodness too and I've got 5 large water butts around the house and greenhouse!) I love recycling!! Anyway, fab card. Good luck in the draw. Annette xx (Stamp Fairy DT)
