My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

XMOUSE ORNAMENT

Hi Everyone

Just flying through quickly tonight as my lovely Sis is about to land and abuse my die cutting machine .. .. and eat a big dish full of spaghetti bolognese!

Just had to smile to myself because I have just had a quick trip down memory lane.  When we were kids and Mum used to send us to the shop with a list to give the shopkeeper she could never spell "spaghetti" .. .. so she would write "and a tin of that stuff I can't spell".  Strangely enough they always knew what she wanted LOL!!

Anyway, round to tonight's share, which fits nicely into the Penny Black Saturday Challenge this week .. .. where the theme is

Snowflakes/snow and silver

I think I have it covered with this little creation:

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "1873H" Xmouse Ornament!
Sentiment:  Computer Generated
Backing Paper:  Dovecraft "Let is Snow"
Nestabilities:  Label 4
Hobbycraft Punches:  Snowflakes
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
ProMarkers
Chalk for the background
Diamond Stickles
White Gel Pen
Ribbon, cord and gems from the Stash Box

Phew!!!   Looks like I have managed it before Sis has landed.   The hyperactive soul has been to Zumba!!!

The close up photographs I took were all  pants and I haven't got time to take another so it is just the one picture tonight folks.  Sorry!!

Have a good evening and don't forget the Handy Hippo Candy that is on offer here if you fancy getting organised for Christmas.

See ya!!

Love

Ah those were the days of proper shops. I remember we used to do our shopping at the village store three miles away. You got a proper expert shopkeeper, who looked like Ronnie Barker, and there were chairs for the ladies to sit on while they waited. Children were NOT allowed to sit on the chairs! Love your cute mouse card with all those wonderful details Jules. Enjoy having your sister round! Vx

Stunning card Jules - love everything about it :) Hope the spag. bol. was good. Crumbs, years since I has tinned spaghetti - Mum used to put some grated cheese and a dollop of tomato ketchup in to liven it up. Memories :)) Di xx

Wow, lots of lovely makes this week again Jules and this one is no exception. He's a little cutie. Love the B&W snippet on Sunday - very classy.

Hope the Wedding Fayre went well on Sunday. I owe you an email (way overdue) but it will have to wait a bit longer. My lappy is playing up and I'm having to type at a snail's pace as it either misses characters out or types them twice AND IT'S DRIVING ME POTTY!!!!! Lol!

Hello Jules,

Card matters first! What a beautiful sweet image! It just makes me smile every time I see it!

I love that beautiful soft shade youve used on the mat, its very retro and I just love it!

S'ghetti matters: blimey gal you were right posh! As a kid we never had spaghetti of any shape or description, neither tinned nor packet! I remember one day when my friend next door and I headed to the local shops and she came home with a packet that must have been over 12" long and it was blue paper wrapping - goodness me what on earth was this I wondered?! They were eating spaghetti bolognaise no less and I didnt get to taste my very first one until I had my first boyfriend who cooked me it one night! lol!

Isnt it funny how certain things trigger long gone memories!!

Hope you have a super weekend Jules!
