A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

ROMANTIC DINNER FOR TWO DAY!!

Hi Everyone

Well I am well chuffed with myself today.

My share and post done super early as today it is our 37th Wedding Anniversary (which in the eyes of special anniversaries is not a landmark that warrants giving it a special name .. .. we have to wait another 3 years for our Ruby Anniversary until it is seen as an achievement LOL!!!).

Here is my share:

This used:

Image:  Sizzix/Hero Arts "65778" - Playful Flowers and Butterflies
Sentiment:  Debbie Moore "C2.0003" Birthday Definition
Backing Papers:  Pink Petticoat
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder:  "Happy Birthday"
Nestabilities:  Tag Die
Ribbon, Cord, Button and Black Pearls from the Stash Box

So that is my share for the day  .. ..  done and dusted so it doesn't interfere with the "romantic dinner for two" that is on the cards for tonight.

I have instructions to make sure the table is COMPLETELY clear ready for setting the table (so I had better get on with that next).

This time 37 years ago we were actually married by now and it was Easter Saturday.  It snowed during the week running up to our wedding .. .. nothing like the lovely weather we have had this week that's for sure.  At the time I am posting this we would be tucking into ham salad in the Church Hall which was a stones throw from the Church.

Gosh how different things are today.

Some of the multi course meals I put on my "happy couples" menus nowadays sound out of this world.  Certainly more exciting than our ham salad followed by a piece of wedding cake LOL!! .. .. .. .. and they pay more for just the hire of a venue than we paid for our first house!!!   Mind you a car today costs more than our first home.

Anyway, best get on with the clearing up ready for our special evening.  I don't want to see Mr Heart's face drop if he walks in and sees wedding stationery still strewn across the table and all around the dining room!!

Have a good evening everyone

I'll catch you again tomorrow

Love

You can always dub it 'Coral plus 2' or 'Coral & Cotton' anniversary. Might get some interesting presents that way.
Have a wonderful evening what -ever you call it. Enjoy the time you spend with your loved one. It is very precious.

Love the card Jules, the flowers and colours are beautiful.
Happy Anniversary to you both
37yrs is great, we are 47 yrs so know what you mean about costs. We watched our First home being built(bungalow) and it cost us £2,100 a fortune to a very young couple like we were. My Mum was panic stricken at the thought ....lol
Have a wonderful night and count all those blessings that you have had.
Huge Hugs Mau xx

Every year is a special one, Jules, it doesn't need a fancy name. Congratulations on your 37 years, you sound as happy today as I'm sure you were on that special day 37 years ago. I bet your couples with their fancy meals don't have any better a day than you did. It's amazing how much weddings cost nowadays isn't it. When I think back to ours, my Mum made all the dresses and the bouquets, MIL made the cake, I made all the stationary and the men's tails were all bought in the sale for £30 each!!!! I think the most expensive thing was the photos and my shoes!!
I hope you have a lovely, romantic evening.
Hugs Lisax

Hope you had a fantastic day with Mr Heart. It does seem mental how money has changed over the years. Seems so strange to hear people say "I paid £3000 for my house."

Anyway...onto your card. Love the colours you've used and the stamp and die are great! It's such a gorgeous birthday card xx

You and Mr Heart had each other and it's lasted ,fancy weddings don't make for the best marriages, saying that our wedding was very nice,3 course meal at a lovely venue in Chester for 50 and a do for 200 at night. On of my fav tv programs is Big Fat Gipsy weddings, they have no shame the vile dresses worn for church especially the tiny girls, it's enough to make this old Methodist cringe, but also smile.
Your card today I really love in every way, just perfect.

Another lovely card - such pretty blues!

my wedding breakfast was in the Church Hall, too. My sister and I spent the previous day making salads. Some nice sherry and wine from M&S, a cake made by my godmother, and lots of good company - perfick!

Happy Anniversary!

Hi Jules, I'm indulging in a long overdue blog hop on my favourites. Sorry my good wishes are soooooo late but I know you understand why. I bet you had a lovely meal and your reminiscences of your Wedding Day sound so familiar, lol! You made me realise it will be our Ruby Anniversary in November this year. Wow, where did the time go!

As always your cards are still up there at the top my friend.
