A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

MORE LETTERS TO SANTA

Hi Everyone

Woo hoo . .. earlier tonight as promised!!

Gosh there seem to be a lot of letters going to Santa from my blog this year!!  LOL!!

Loving this little stamp.  I bought it alongside the one I used to do my letter to Santa card here.

There are more in the range I think but I am trying to be strong and not look .. .. but I do like them.  So easy to either colour or paper piece as the sections are not too fiddly to cut out (with the exception of the holly berries).

I also paper pieced the little postage stamp on the letter .. .. and when I look at it now I can actually see a little head on it!!!  Spooky!!!

Anyway, here we go:

This used:

Image:  Marianne Creatables "EC0140" Eline's Post Box
Sentiment:  LOTV
Backing Papers:  Dovecraft "Noel"
My Trusty Sewing Machine
Pinking Shears
Button Twine
Dimension Pads
Glamour Dust

I actually stamped my image onto some stiff card and then paper pieced onto that and cut around it all once dry.  Quite like the look of Mr Owl done like that!

I hope you have all had a good day.  I need to disappear.  It is my turn to get dinner on the table and I still need to do a bit of work.

No rest for the wicked!!!  LOL!!!

Love

Another terrific card - I think owls are 'so on trend' this year - well, it seems that way because I've seen an awful lot this last week. And I spotted that face on the stamp immediately - imagine my surprise to find it wasn't deliberate :) Elizabeth xx

Fabulous Jules! I also have those Dovecraft Noel papers and you used them brilliantly, along with Ollie the Owl.

I'm just back home and wandering round the wreck that used to be the Playground :( Still looking for a fireman though :)

Love, Di xx

This is beautiful Jules.
I love the paper-pieced owl and post box and the colours all work so well together.
I have never thought to use pinking shears for the edges, it looks really effective so may give it a try.
