My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

PIXIE'S SNIPPET PLAYGROUND

Hi Everyone

Happy Sunday!!!

The weather has been beautiful here today .. .. more dreaded washing on the line .. .. but as instructed by the lovely Eve I am going to try and "fold my clothes VERY carefully" .. .. then I might not need to iron them LOL!!!

Anyway lots happening in the old House of Hearts at the moment so a quick run into Pixie's Snippet Playground with a quick share which used up a  few of my snippets.  I don't think anyone will have any problems finding the heart today!!

As always on a Sunday I give myself the day off from listing my ingredients .. .. .. but I know this stamp will be getting lots of airing this Christmas so you will soon know its name and reference number off by heart LOL!!!

I have the longest "do list" ever as I start this week so my blog posts might be a bit "hit and miss" or even non-existent and I know I definitely won't have time for blog visits  -  sorry :-(

It is the wedding fayre next Sunday and I have so many new ideas I want to pull together and exhibit including a new table plan.  I always have three on display and make sure that one of them is a brand new design.  So wedding fayre work, alongside my other commissions and orders means bloghopping has to be banned for a little while.  But I will try and post the odd make if I can.

Whilst at my Mum's on Friday evening along with my lovely Sis and nieces my Mum mentioned something about "Pippa Dee" where she used to work many, many years ago.  My nieces had never heard of Pippa Dee and thought it was the name of someone Mum used to work alongside .. .. we all had a good laugh .. .. and then afterwards decided that Pippa Dee should become a guest name on my next table plan.  I wonder how long it will take my Sis to spot her next Sunday LOL!!

Anyway, for now I need to go and scrub the distress ink off my fingers and finish some invitations ready for collection by a "happy couple" later this week.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and have a good week everyone.

Sorry I am a rubbish blog buddy!

Love

Pippa Dee now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time until last week when I was telling my youngest daughter that I loved there clothes and they were so good quality that you could pass them on and they still looked like new and sometimes they were passed on three or four times. My daughter likes mini Boden, which are lovely but not a patch on Pippa Dee in my mind.

Your card is stunning, I just love it. You are going to be busy and we will all understand why you are not around, take care.

Hello Jules, love the inking of the sky and the white sketchy style of the stamp. I remember Pippa Dee too. My dog is called Pippa, and when she is being naughty I refer to her as Pippa Dee, lol. Have a good week. Lynn x

Gorgeous card Jules - LOVE the stamp and of course it's a really beautiful end result. I do so love blues on Christmas cards right now. Ha, I spotted the heart straight away too :)

On the subject of heart spotting , my QCME magazine arrived here the other day and as always I raced through it to find you and scour your cards to spot the hearts :)

Oh yes, I remember Pippa Dee parties - that dates me LOL!

Hugs, Di xx

Hi Jules, lovely card and super stamp - I'll be keeping my open for the details :)) I recall going to a Pippa Dee party with my late MIL, that would be way back in the 70s. I bought a pair of PJs for my, then toddler, son ... I think I have a snapshot of him wearing them somewhere - must see if I can dig it out - it might just make an appearance on my blog :)) Hope all goes well at the fayre and forget any notion that you are a rubbish blogger, busy is busy and really what could be better! Hugs, Elizabeth xx
