My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

RUDOLPH DAY - JANUARY

Hi Everyone

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend.

I said "bye-bye" to one of my happy couples this week.  The bride came and collected  a post box I had decorated for them .. .. and they got married today!!  The weather will have been nice as they actually got married but I don't think it will have been nice enough for them to have photographs taken outside :-(  We had thunder storms, hail and heavy rain!!!   Shame they didn't get married a couple of hours earlier, but I am sure they will be happy anyway.

So one happy couple crossed off my list .. .. but they were quickly replaced by the lovely couple I met last weekend.  They loved the samples I made for them during the week and have today placed an order.  So "one off" and "one on" the do list!!

Now as you know I am trying to get some Christmas cards made nice and early this year so "another" of my New Year Resolutions was to "always" take part in the lovely Sandra's Rudolph Day Challenge.

So once I had committed myself I was a tad shocked to see that the rules had changed and now Sandra is asking for TWO Christmas makes!!!  Shock horror!!!  One was going to be bad enough .. .. especially at the height of wedding fever .. .. so if I can keep my resolution AND do two Christmas makes it will be a miracle .. .. but I will try and am off to a good start for January at least.

So here we go:

and then a dinky little easel card that I find really difficult to photograph

To keep things simple in listing the ingredients I used the same on both and the image is another of the pre-loved stamps I bought from Clair (which means I have now shared 2 of my 6):

Image:  Penny Black "2238K" Jingle All The Way!
Sentiments:  Papermania Urban Stamps "Christmas in the Country Tags"
Backing Papers:  Dovecraft "Back to Basics"
Nestabilities:  Classic Circle and Scalloped Circle
X-Cut Palm Punch:  Small Snowflake
ProMarkers
Glamour Dust
Diamond Stickles
Gems
Black fineliner pen

and that is it!

New Year Resolution number 3 fulfilled for January (no I am not telling you all of them no matter how many times you ask LOL!!).

I'll catch you again tomorrow with my snippets .. .. and yet another Christmas card!  Three in one January weekend .. .. never heard of!!

Enjoy the rest of your evening and weekend.

Love

Applause, applause, applause, Jules! Look at you go with those Christmas cards already!! That Sarn is a stinker, but we will be thanking her next December!

Your cards are, as always, precious and perfect and glittery delights! I wish I had half your energy!

I'm so happy to hear the wedding business in booming for you. They are lucky wedding couples who get to use your services!! Hugs, Darnell

Or dear, this means I either have to dig my poinsettias out from under my desk or find something else to make. Oh! Or go to bed, that's another option. I'll take door #3 please. I love your wee easel card, so cute. The big card is nice too, I like the little heart brad touch, very nice. Sweet Christmas cards! And just think, with TWO being required that means you'll have twice as many done by the time Christmas gets here.

Jules, great makes. Your photos are very nice. Love them both. Your stamp is a really cute one. I like how you were able to use only one of the little critters, or all three. Nice job.
