My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

SKETCH AND STASH CHALLENGE

Hi Everyone

Happy Thursday!

Another scheduled post from me using the fabby sketch from over at Sketch N Stash.

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "3633K" Clusters
Sentiment:  Pink Petticoat "Happy Birthday Sentiments"
Backing Papers:  Pink Petticoat "Pink Grapefruit"
My Favorite Things:  Die-namics - Notebook Edge
ProMarkers
Diamond Stickles
Pinking Shears
My Trust Sewing Machine
Ribbon from My Crafty Stash Box

and here is the sketch I used .. .. in case you fancy playing along:

another part of the challenge is to use either new or neglected stash in your creation and let everyone know which you opted for.

Well I went for my sparkly new Die-namics Notebook Edge Die which I was lucky enough to win the other week in Pixie's Snippet Playground Challenge.  (Thanks Di xxx).  If you haven't come across this challenge then you are in for a treat.  Lots of fabby playmates and banter .. .. and a wonderful host called Di. The idea behind the challenge being to use up all your snippets of paper/ribbon/fabric .. .. whatever you have left over after completing other projects.

I will link up my card later but in the meantime I hope you all have a good day.  Especially one of my "happy couples" who are getting married today .. .. hopefully the sun will be shining for them and they will have a fabby day.

Love

LOVE this card - you rocked that sketch :)

And how lovely to see you already using the notebook edge die - and sideways too, shows how versatile that one die strip is - super results!

Hi Jules, just had to nip in and comment on this - so pretty, gorgeous colours, think I need that stamp! I've got the notebook edge die but haven't used it yet, you've given me some inspiration.

Thanks for your lovely comment about my tree and Brusho cards the other day. Like you, I have limited time for blogging these days, not enough hours in the day since we moved up north! Hope all's well with you. You certainly sound busy, so that can't be bad!

Hugs, Lynne x
