My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

BACK AT LAST!

Hi Everyone

Happy Friday!

Crikey me .. .. how long have I been away from my little blog?

Many thanks for all the enquiries and messages checking up on me .. .. but rest assured all is well.

I had a really busy couple of weeks work wise, which meant I posted next to nothing on my poor blog, and then Mr Heart and I decided to escape for a few days to Stratford upon Avon. Somewhere we had never been before .. .. and we arrived back home yesterday.

The plan had been to leave things so I could at least post something whilst we were away .. .. but Mr Wifi connection had other ideas and decided that I should have a complete break!!

We had such a lovely relaxing time away and today it has been really hard to knock ourselves into shape and pick things up where we left them.  But we have tried our best LOL!!

My share today is for taking over to Sandra's Rudolph Day Challenge:

This used:

Sentiment:  Whimsy Stamps "Christmas Chalkboards 1"
Backing Papers:  Kaisercraft "North Pole"
Wow! Embossing Powder:  Opaque Bright White
My Trusty Sewing Machine
Josy Rose:  Nail Heads
Snowflake Ribbon (the only bit of crafty shopping I did whilst we were away along with felt, pom-pom ribbon and a few shaped buttons)
Button and Metallic Twine from My Crafty Stash Box

and that is my blog all woken up and in action again!!

Part of our time away involved us visiting a butterfly farm and I am hoping I have a decent picture of my favourite butterfly to share with you at some stage.

Just off to catch up with my Mum now and then Mr Heart will be on fish and chip duties .. .. whilst I make a start on catching up with your lovely blogs.

Have a great weekend everyone .. .. I think the weather is supposed to be wonderful!

Love

Hi Jules, so nice to see you've had a good break away from it all. One of the main problems of working from home is that it is not so easy to switch off! Often the answer is to simply get away and where better than Stratford ... it's lovely around that area :)

Your cards are fabulous. I like blackboard effect of the sentiment stamp and the choice of colours is terrific.

Hugs, Elizabeth xx

Hi Jules! Welcome back! Sounds like you had a great break! I've been to the butterfly farm in Stratford upon Avon too! It is an amazing place. We had some good photos of the butterfly and some funny photos of the butterflies landing/ crawling on my girls head and chest. Such a beautiful and fun place to visit.
Love that stamp on your Christmas cards. Will add to my wishing list! Your cards are neat and pretty as usual! Have a good weekend!
