My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

TOO MANY GREEN SNIPPETS

Hi Everyone

Happy Wednesday .. .. I hope you have had a good day.

The big clear up in the House of Hearts is continuing and I am determined to get my little craft pod in super organised condition and get rid of everything that is pure junk .. .. as in all those stupid banana shaped Cuttlebug plates that  I keep for some reason. Why?!?!

Plus lots of other things need to sorted and stored more efficiently.

But as always it has to be done at preferably no cost or "very little" (which is probably why my tiny little pod is full of non-matching furniture that has been dis-guarded by others but serves me well).. .. after all if there is money that can be spent in the craft pod I would rather buy something off my crafty "one day I would like" list.

Part of what needs to be seriously sorted are all the scrummy scraps of paper that I just can't part with and tonight's share uses lots.

This used:

Sentiment:  Penny Black "2909E" Smiling
Loads and loads and loads of snippets from the green drawer
Nestabilities:  Classic Circle and Scalloped Circle
Woodware Punches:  Daisy
X-Cut Punch:  Flower
Button, brads and ribbon from My Crafty Stash Box

and that is me for today.  If I just make another 100 or so cards like this I might feel I am winning in the battle of the snippets LOL!!!

I'll catch you again tomorrow.

Love

Hi Jules, what a pretty card! Great use of scraps! My craft room needs another sort out too, I just need a few more hours in the day!

Such a brilliant card Jules. Marvellous way to use up all the left overs. I have to admit my craft room is full of "cast off" furniture - but it serves the purpose.

This is so effective. What a great use of your snippets! So you use a template for the starburst! I just love this look...think i might like to give it a try!

The flowers you made are cool and look so good with your starburst.

Nice use of scraps and , by the way, did you know that you can straighten out those banana boards? I saw a link, think it's on YouTube about running hot water over them and pressure.... Check it out & I'll also check my links & see if I kept it as an "in case..."!

Hi Jules
Just popping by to say hi, it's been a long time. I seem to have had a blogger drought over the summer, too many other things going on.
I hope you are well, you sound very busy as always which is good. I know exactly what you mean about discarded furtiture finding it's away into your craft room, exactly the same here. Sometimes I think it would be lovely to have an all matching designer room like you see on the Internet but like you say, when there is new craft stash to buy, furniture is not important.
Good Luck with your sort out.
Hugs Lisax

When you find how to win the battle with snippets, please share with us cause I know snippets take over my craft room like crazy! lol I love how this card uses a lot of those snippets up and it is so fun and cheery too! Love those snippets you used Jules, they are beautiful papers. The sunburst pattern looks great and I love the sentiment you used. Hugs, Brenda

A perfect snippet card, and great paper pattern combinations. I have never been able to get this sunburst pattern done properly (there must be a better technique than what I know!). This one is just pretty as can be. Yep, found the heart pretty quickly too. Good for you in the cleanup -- I am way behind on that. Seem to get further behind every time I bother to try!!! Too much stuff. TFS

Love this card, Jules. Great use of the snippets pile!

Hi Jules,
fabulous snippet make and brilliant idea to store snippets with like colours - I wish that I was that organised!

I have had a clear out recently though but it did make me feel a little guilty finding things that I haven't used yet :[
